Sorry I don’t have more to post today (well I do, but I’m not going to) — but yesterday I added lots, and I’ll have more tomorrow of course as well. Anyway, I wanted to show a couple of unusual ear piercing photos that had been submitted lately. Let’s start with what’s being called a “sub-tragus piercing”. This one is by John Von at On The Edge Tattoo in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Alan from Ground Zero in Muncie, IN sends in this next shot of a helix to rook to daith industrial piercing. He emphasizes that the piercing has not distorted the shape of the person’s ear — she naturally has pronounced enough ridges. It would not be possible on someone who didn’t have this anatomical abnormality (at least not with a straight bar).

the top one is my favourite because i often sit and squeeze my ‘sub tragus’ area wondering if it can be pierced, and now i know it can!

I had something quite simular to the 2nd one..
there is a picture on my page.. its shitty.. but you can still see it.
It hurt like a bitch.. i kept it for a while.. but it would never heal.. so i had to take it out..

I did a similar industrial about five years ago (helix-rook-daith) with a curved bar. As far as I know, the client still has it, and it healed beautifully. Doesn’t look anything at all similar, but it’s one of my favorite piercings I’ve ever done.

Would that 2nd one the industrial, ever fully heal?? and i had both of my tragus done but after a 3 months it still wasnt healing so i had to take them out. Did they just do it wrong??
