A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Orbital Piercing

She writes, “this my second body piercing”, but due to the nature of an orbital, does that mean that you could say that the statement “this is my third body piercing” (or first) is true as well?

well, you could put two different pieces of jewelery in it at the same time, so i’d count it as two piercings.

and peejay, i do the same thing. 😉

To help with this problem, I always count [extra] holes, not jewelry.

My industrial is a single piercing.
I’d say, only piercing that wasn’t done immediately consecutively could be considered seperate piercings. If it’s pierced in the same session, then either there should be seperate jewelry, or the standard pause between piercings, as for any other multi-piercing sitting.

I’d count it as 2.. it’s more the holes rather than the jewelery.
