A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Nanoo Nanoo!

Although I like how it looks, I doubt very much that that’ll last long.

I think it would be a bitch to heal, but if it does heal well, that would be awesome.

#5. There was a sitcom in the 70′s with a character called Mork (Playing by Robin Williams) who would use the hand gesture and say “Nanoo Nanoo” when greeting people.

THIS IS NOT A PIERCING I’D NORMALLY DO BUT IF YOU LOOK CLOSE YOU’LL NOTICE THIS DUDE HAS AN EXTENDED WEB BETWEEN HIS MIDDLE FINGERS SO IT SAT WELL. I WARNED HIM THAT IT MIGHT NOT HEAL SINCE IT’S A HAND AND THEREFORE HARD TO KEEP CLEAN. I DID IT JUST BEFORE I RELOCATED TO AUCKLAND BUT THE DUDE CAME INTO THE STORE A WHILE LATER. SAID IT WAS SWEET AS BUT ABOUT 9 MONTHS IN HE CAUGHT IT AND IT DIDN’T SETTLE DOWN AFTER THAT SO HE TOOK IT OUT.

I would not be able to pull this off. I would be too afraid it would get snagged or infected & it’s a shame that the guy had to take it out. =[

It was the assumption that i’d lie about my work. I have been doing this for a longer than you have and i’m pretty good at it. I spent three or four months discussing the pros/cons of this piercing with my client so he was aware of how carefull he would have to be with it. As far as placement goes he had a natural gap between those two fingers so it sat well and, due to the extended web, movement around the piercing was minimal. I’m not trying to justify my work here i’m just trying to show that i’m not some gung ho hack and slasher who’ll do anything for a photo.

There’s something undeniably powerful about watching someone working through the stages of suspension.
