A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Posing Advice

If you have a tattoo on your side, there are a few poses that might ensure you extra membership time, as demonstrated below. We who process your images are weak willed humans. In this case there were a few points lost for the cropping and the tiger posters though, sorry.

Yeah, I saw this gal in one of the galleries, and while everyione likes a photo of an attractive person, submitting like 25 of them just tells me that they have some serious attention issues…

To me, these pictures aren’t about the modifications at all, just tits and ass. If I want pictures of tits and ass I can (and would rather) just look at porn.

Sorry if I come across as a prude here.

    I totally agree with OUTMYWINDOW.

I take pictures like this, but I do it for myself. And I’d never submit a million of them, i have enough trouble finding even ONE to submit 🙂

Agreed. Nice artistic nudes of modded people is great. Lots of sexual photos of only beautiful thin white women is not why I come here.

I’m glad I wasn’t the only person who felt that way. I was kinda nervous about that post… 🙂

But there are overweight women, not traditionally attractive women, not heavily tanned or made up women, black women, asian women, etc, with images on bme in the image files, I jsut meant they never seem to make it on here. And I realize this is Shannons page to do what he likes with, and he likes a certain type of woman, but for all the rest of us, it can be kind of bad. I adore Shannon, I just wish he would consider running another site, one that is more sex oriented, or somehow set up a way that there are two modblogs something. I come here because I love Shannons commentary on tattoos, it is MOD BLOG after all. But seeing tons of sexualized gorgeous women and men drooling after them does not make me feel very good about myself.

Whats with all the whining about “the girls that are sexier than me” getting featured? There have been plenty of guys on here that I consider to be more attractive than myself, but that didnt make me hate myself or start crying for a Modblog For The Less Attractive. If seeing more attractive people than yourself get attention is that big of a deal, then there are much more important problems to deal with besides what someone else chooses to put on their personal blog.
Modblog has been very diverse as far as i’ve seen, and I think the “sexualized gorgeous women and men drooling after them” is much less here than most other blogs that feature attractive photos.
    Cry me a river.

i personally don’t mind the sexually-natured pictures of men or women on this site (hell…some people have so many mods that they have to be naked to show them!) … but this particular entry doesn’t seem to be focusing on the tattoo itself, not one bit.

Posted on 03-22-2006 18:30:34 by blank
There have been so many entries in Modblog, its hard to count. Each offering its own thing. Why does it make such a huge difference that this one has a girl with a couple tattoos doing a few poses. What the hell difference does it make. Shannon does this all on his spare time, and its his “Moblog” or “Modblog” in this case. If you don’t like it, or it makes you feel inadequite, or etc etc then don’t bother coming on here. That or you can just ignore things you don’t like and read all the other entries but its not really your place to complain about something privately run, for someones own amusement.

And yes, I am aware, opinions are your own personal business, you do as you please with them, it is just when worded a certain way, it seems like an attack on someone, when really you should just accept that sometime guys dig chick scantily clad.

If you want to have a certain other type of look on here, submit pictures, maybe you’ll be on here.

I say attach it with a subject line that reads: “I want to be on ModBlog to offer some diversity other than skinny white chicks!”.

Then again I am just an asshole and you could just take my opinion for someone running at the mouth.

Posted on 03-22-2006 18:33:08 by glider
Seriously, ModBlog is a product of the photos that are sent to me. I don’t censor out photos of minorities or photos of people who are heavy set…. But when it comes to sexually charged pictures that are suitable for posting here, I’m afraid the bias of the submissions is skinny white girls.

You BBW girls and girls with non-white ethnic backgrounds need to start sending in more posed pictures and I’ll happily include them!

    Posted on 03-22-2006 23:01:38 by a
You’re right. I was drawn to this community because I thought it has something different to offer me, and that it might be one place that I didn’t have to deal with the same old crap as in popular culture and every else, but since that isn’t the case (for me), you are right, I dont have to stick around.

Shannon, you are amazing, and all your projects have so much to offer, so much potential, and I know, as was mentioned, they are yours, and you can do whatever you want with them. But a lot of people read, are involved, have memberships, and look to you in a position of leadership. Please take the responsibility of that power seriously. I know you do, but sometimes it just feels .. I dont know. I cant explain it. Maybe I am just being too sensitive. In fact, I almost certainly am. But feeling safe and valued. in a community of friends on line is a goal for me and many others. And that dream is not coming true. Expectations are the problem. I hoped it would be a certian way here, and its not, and instead of just leaving, I felt hurt or dissapointed. My fault.

Call me a whiny bitch all you like, but I just wanted a chance to express my feelings, and it may be that i am the only one who ever felt these things, and if so, i am glad, but if not, well, we dont have to be here.

if my ethnic parents would let my ethnic underage face get some ethnic piercings, i’ll send them to bme.

Let this person be… She obviously enjoys taking pictures of herself in that manner and probably thought it was appropriate to send it. She DID make it on here… =/

What *I* hate the most is that my perfectly fine nipple piercing pictures were DENIED…then I look on the galleries and theres like a MILLION shots of the same damn tongue ring or w/e… you know what I’m talking about. Not even different angles or a different position. Just the same joker stickin’ their tongue out and clickin pics. A million times! Yeesh.
