A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

Bad tattoo? Serves you right!

In my opinion, if someone goes to a tattoo studio that doesn’t even know how to spell the word “tattoo”, they probably deserve the shitty tattoo that will likely result.

The ad is worse, but man, that’s a bad sign. Even if it was the sign company’s mistake, I’d cover that shit up ASAP.

Me and a mate went in to ask about an inverse navel and they didn’t seem to take us seriously. Ok, we’re teenage girls and it was a navel piercing but c’mon, we’re also way hardcore.

There’s a shop near me called “Boodamonk Hip Hop tattoos” and I consider that to be almost on par with the one you’ve shown here. It scares me that there are people that really don’t pay attention to spelling, and that those people still have jobs that require spelling! Also, whoever made that sign should have, like, said something.

BLows my mind how much bad work is still being done (AND even featured even HERE on BME!)

I’d reccommend to SHannon to make a gallery of Bad tatts but that may offend the artist and subject alike…but then again YES if you’re a cheap jackass you WILL get EXACTLY what you deserve as an indelible reminder of a “What the fuck was I thinking?”

I’ve had both a piercing and a tattoo done at eclipse, and yes, they’re not very friendly but to those who think their tattoos aren’t good, mine is gorgeous as hell and they even re-drew the design the way I wanted it before I got it done. The spelling mistake can probably be attributed to the fact that they’re non-native English speakers (they’re Dutch).

i disagree that people are saying these people are crap. they are foreign and you can’t expect everyone to be an ace speller. a person’s spelling is no reflection on the quality of their artwork or their piercing abilities. i’ve been there. they are friendly, helpful people who sorted out my snug piercing really nicely.
and also, not all people are suited for all piercings. i know not one single person who has had completely successful hip piercings. i guess some surface piercings just aren’t meant to be?
