Well, I don’t think the anchors ment to be offensive. I can understand very well why the female anchor didn’t wanna look, for instance. Not everyone manages to look at stuff like that. And those things are not something you see everyday, so It’s not that wierd that they react with less understanding to it than people that read modblog do. They asked questions, and of couse they expressed that they didn’t understand how anyone would do that of free will.
But thats just how it is! I mean, I have never watched this show for myself, but I have always thought this was a show for kids to learn about… all the things the REALLY serious childrens-show don’t talk about. (They talk about sex and penises like, everytime I’ve seen anything of it) It’s just so kids wont become as naive as many of their parents are, and not feeling that they have to grow into “normal”
And for my crap-english and spellingmistakes since I’m at school and can’t see the computerscreen, SORRY 😀

I preface every show with “The pregnant and those with heart conditions or delicate sensibilities should probably pass on this show. Do not try these acts at home. Go to a friend’s house.”

Awww! Their performance was so cute and well done for being on an after school special! I wish we had an after school special like that here. Of course I do live in Arkansas and don’t go to school anymore. But it would be really cool. Meow!

As it has already been pointed out (by fellow norwegians), this is an after school programme aimed at teens. That would expain the anchors behaviour, and for those of you wanting a translation; the questions are not really interresting and the answers are pretty basic. There’s only so much you can say in a 3 minute dialog to make sense for an audience of ‘normal people’. Don’t worry about the words, enjoy the acts!
@ #1 we are indeed sideshow freaks! and if we should perform for modded people only we could never survive.

I’m also Norwegian, and if Håvve happens to pop in here, would he mind answering: Is it something I’m imagining, or are you looking very oddly at the anchors when they startet rambling about football and stuff?
Also, if anybody can fix the video, I can translate (I’m thinking adding subtitles), though, as Håvve says, it’s pretty basic.

Does anyone know what “song” is played during The Princess of Scars’ act?
