A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

A Step at a Time

Now, if the eyes are supposed to be the windows to the soul, then where do you reckon the skull porthole fits in? This fine piece on Natasha’s noggin comes to us from Maxime (also), currently apprenticing at The Leu Family Iron in Lausanne, Switzerland, which, hey, nice work if you can get it. And, hey, because you asked so nicely, there’s a close-up after the jump.

I wonder how she, and others with head tattoos, deal with healing it while hair is growing back. Does it affect the tattoo at all?

I’ve had a similar idea for a while but more of a hatch than a window. Nice to see that similar ideas sort of work.

The illusion of depth in that tattoo is amazing.

when I am healing work on my scalp I simply let the hair grow while healing and don’t shave for at least a week, I tend be a ‘just leave it alone’ aftercare person anyway though as that works best for me
