A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

@1…if only every mother in this world was as supportive as her. My parents just disowned me becuase I got a new car. I’d hate to see what they’d do to me if i got a facial tattoo or piercing.

Noah, not to be a bitch, but I doubt your parents were like “Oh, Noah, you bought a new car. I don’t have anything nice like that. God, I’m so jealous! We’re never talking again!” I’ll assume you owe them money or are behind on child support or SOMETHING like that.

I wish my mom was that supportive… I got new 5/8″ tunnels about a month ago and every time she sees them she starts shaking her head and telling me that I’ve mutilated myself and I’ll never get a job and I must be a pervert etc etc. So more power to you, Josh.

As a person who’s modifications were some of the final straws on the camel’s back with me and my mother’s relationship, it’s awesome to see two people bound by love.

    Props to Josh’s mom.

That’s cool, especially because I live in a kind of ‘gotta be bored to DEATH until I leave home’. Especially forbidden by the house rules: coming home late at night, partying like an animal, drinking, getting piercings, wearing cool clothes, having a girlfriend, having a social life and so on.
    Well, sort of 😛
I SO wish I had a job that’s good enough to let me rent a friggin’ flat.

No, they disowned me. They said to forget they existed and to never speak to them again. To quote my father, “Hey you cocksucking motherfucking pussywhipped bitch!!!!!!!!!! You are a piece of shit. You are officially dead to us, never come by the house, mail us the house keys. How far along is *insert name here*?”not pregnant” Do not speak to your mother or I. We want nothing to do with you ever.” My bug caught on fire at a fucking gas station. I told them what happened, got it repaired the next day, as well as went out and bought a new car. I showed the people I work with the car the night I got it. My parents went by my work the next day getting groceries, and my manager told them. I drove up while they were leaving the store. I got a text message 20 minutes later saying that I was an asshole, and that my insurance *which I paid for* was canceled. So no, I’ve been disowned and I now have no parents, ya happy?

When lobes are stretched that big, I kind of get the urge to flap them around the way I would a dog’s big floppy ears. Am I alone in this? Haha.

I think it’s awesome that these two can have such a great relationship. I’m really close to my mum as well. She’s been with me for every tattoo I’ve gotten. My dad isn’t as keen on them, but he knows that I’m not an idiot, so he puts up with them.
