A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

The nose knows

We don’t often see high nostril piercings on ModBlog, so seeing this photo in the galleries was a rare treat.   Juliana here is a perfect example of simple elegance.

Juliana was pierced by Hannah Cherry from Fatty’s Tattoo in DC.

I LOVE high nostril piercings. I’ve wanted them for ages but I do wonder about bogeys getting caught on the back of the piercings and if they scratch the inside of the nose.
