A black-and-white photo of a person mid-air in a Superman-style body suspension pose, supported by multiple hooks in their back and legs, smiling joyfully toward the camera. They are suspended horizontally in a large indoor space with high ceilings and visible rigging. A group of onlookers—some seated, some standing—watch with expressions of admiration, amusement, and support. The atmosphere is lively and communal, capturing a moment of shared experience and transformation.

The Friday Follow-up

Oh man, I’ve been waiting for this follow-up every since I posted about this scar back in June.  Thankfully Richard “Effin” Ivey was able to track Velo down to grab another photo of the scar six weeks into the healing process.

You know, come to think of it, Evan there deserves a BMEBoy tag on this post.

I’m bummed that Evan hasn’t updated IAM since June. It was nice meeting him at BMEFest and I hope he makes it out to NYE. Mainly because I forgot how to juggle already!

Umm, I don’t even think this piece was 6 weeks old in the photo. I just got around to uploading it :-/ Evan is MIA here lately.

    I love that concept.

Curious: Is it typical for the scars to be indented like this? Just that any time I’ve seen a healed scar, they seem to be either raised or flat to the surrounding skin.

Oh, seeing what Richard wrote about it being a newer scar explains it, never mind 🙂

Hey guys, sorry I have been a bit MIA, I needed an extended break from the interwebs for a bit. Anywho, I just forwarded Richard some more photos, taken this morning, so maybe those will show up here soon. I may just post them myself later on this evening when I have a bit more time.
