That’s nifty, I quite like it. The centaur’s face is a little odd looking, but the color’s gorgeous. Is it continued on her front? It looks like it should, or does rather.

The color of the tree leaves in particular is just stunning. The scrolly frame is also beautiful. What a piece to be proud of! Cheers!
That’s hella impressive. I can just imagine her being at a party and some dude gets his tribal armband out to show everyone, and she comes along and lifts up her shirt. Haha.
wow its gorgeous! 😀
the girls i get never have mythical backs

Wow, that’s awesome. Perfectly suits her body type.

This has got to be the single best backpiece I can remember laying eyes on in recent memory (and yes, I’m including my own). From a technical point of view, it appears to be flawlessly executed (at least as much as I can see in a photo), the imagery isn’t the same old ‘ho hum, another Asian dragon/koi/etc, and the shape somehow seems to have been tailored to her body specifically. Plus let’s not forget, I am partial to a lot of color – and this is laid in there just right, nice and solid. I’ve got my upper back (above the waistline of my pants) done, and I can attest to the fact that there are an AWFUL lot of really painful spots on the back – and she’s done all the way to the bottom of her butt cheeks! I can’t imagine how many hours, and how much pain, she had to sit through to get this thing finished (and I’d also be very interested to know how long this took). EXCELLENT.
When I was younger I obsessed over Mythology and rented a book every week from the library about it. So I can definitly understand and appreciate this tattoo.

i love the colors!!! definitely something to be proud of
Instead of adding to the (well-deserved) drooling, I’ll just suggest that she go to another tattoo parlor and ask for a cover-up, just to see the look on the artist’s face.
I absolutely love this, the colouring is just stunning. I don’t understand why this isn’t under ‘quality’ as well.

Woah.
This is probably one of the best back pieces I have seen in a long time.
Amazing

Dan Gilsdorf has worked on me, recloring work originally done by Cliff Raven. I have known Dan for many years. I did not know he was such a great tattooer. That is a great backpiece. I wish my backpiece was as colorful. My back was done by Robert Benedetti, owner of Sunset Strip Tattoo in Los Angeles, CA. best wishes, InkManLarry

WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
wonderful.

Beautiful artwork, gorgeous picture… but it doesn’t make such a great tattoo. It gets ruined when it’s put on a body. =\

Wow! I had no idea that this was even here! I just found this. This is my back piece and it took over 25 hours to complete. There is a story behind the tattoo. If you’d like to know, I’ll let you in. Thank you all for the compliments. I’ve had better photos since this one posted on my IAM page.
