After going to see Mark one day for a piercing (I think it was just my ear lobes that time) he had mentioned to me that the local tattoo convention was almost upon us. He had been saying for weeks that he had wanted to do a corset piercing on me, but I'd never actually thought about it much. This day, it was the week before the convention and he expressed great interest in giving my back some lovely metal.

I'm quite easily persuaded when it comes to piercings, and most of the ones I already had were spur of the moment decisions, so this was a very tempting idea to me.

I spent about 20 seconds thinking about it, then decided I'd go for it. Why the hell not?

We talked about what kind of bars should be used, decided against BCRs and microdermals, and went for staple bars at inward angles, to give a corset effect. It was great fun talking about it and I got myself really excited about it!

With a week to go, I was given his mobile number so I could call him when I got there, so he could get me in ahead of the queues and pierce me first, and leave me free to wander around the rest of the convention for the rest of the day. I was instructed to have a good breakfast, something to keep my sugar levels up and give me sustainance for the morning, and to have myself dressed in my corset dress ready for when I got there. Not a problem.

So the week drags by, and eventually the big day arrives. I make it in ahead of the crowd gathering outside the doors and we head in to the room behind the items on sale, and he marks me up, checking with my partner that the dots were even and correctly placed, then taking a photo to show me, so I could confirm I was happy with the chosen placement. I got up on the bed and lay on my front while he put some fresh gloves on and had a little squeeze of my back to make sure the skin was good. He has a few pose shots taken, gripping the skin and holding a needle, and then he preps me with the usual breathing techniques, and the piercing actually starts.

Oh, we were using 4 x 32mm titanium surface bars with slave balls, for those of you who wish to know :)

I felt the first needle go in, but there was no pain. I thought it was brilliant! Unfortunately, I did feel it leaving my body. It's difficult to describe how it feels, it wasn't what I would call painful, but I was very aware that there was a rather large needle in my back, and I thought it was going to be difficult going through with the other three he was going to put in place.

It only took about 30 seconds to get the bar in and sealed, which was brilliant! I didn't have time to think about it because he had already moved on to the next one.

This happened three more times, and the piercing was finished. Now it was time to ribbon me up!

Feeding the ribbon through was painless, although afterwards I had to hold my shoulders further back than usual because the pulling sensation was extremely odd. Not exactly bad, but odd nonetheless.

The whole experience was amazing, it was such a sensual feeling having them placed, and every time I felt the needle go in I let out a sigh of pleasure. I'm not one of those people that gets off on (that kind of) pain, but it felt so good!

I was told afterwards that I was the first person he had done a corset piercing on. I was so proud to be his first! Everyone at the convention loved it and took photos of it, I felt like my skin was actually beautiful!!

I've had no problems with healing, I use Savlon spray on them and go back to see Mark two times a week to have them cleaned thoroughly. It's been almost two months now and they've gone through the usual surface piercing icky stage, and haven't shown any signs of rejection or migration. I'm so proud of them! It is by far my favourite piece of work anybody has done to my body, and I'll keep them in for as long as I can! Anybody considering this kind of piercing, I say go for it! But make sure you're wised up on the dangers and probability of rejection, and always make sure that the right kind of jewellery is used, depending on if you want them to be permanent or not. I've heard surface bars are best for permanent ones as they have a higher success rate, and BCRs are best for play piercings and pictures, because the likelihood of irritation and rejection are higher.

Good luck and happy piercing!!
