This is my story of two Christina's and a nipple piercing, just because a studio had a good reputation it doesn't mean they don't make mistakes...

I knew I wanted another piercing in the genital area after having my hood done earlier on in the year, and I wanted something different so I settled on the Christina.
I went to a very popular piercing place in Manchester city centre, it is a professional piercing only studio, very clean and modern. I spoke to the bloke piercing me telling him what I wanted and making sure he knew what I wanted, I signed the paperwork and was led into the piercing room. As my piercer got his stuff together I undressed , chatting away to him about the weather - typical British thing to do! I got up onto the huge table and got comfortable, as he marked me up and showed me where the piercing was going to be, I was satisfied with the positioning ( how was I know to know it wasn't in the right place?) One thing I can say is that it flipping hurt! Probably the most painful piercing I have ever had and I have had my nipples done and hood. But once I saw it I knew it looked perfect!
It did bled quite a bit and I had to wear a pad for a couple of days,. The first few days were very painful, the piercing was pinching and it hurt to sit down and bend over, I just assumed it was normal because it is in a place likely to catch on your panties seams, so I just stuck with. Over the next two months my pericing started to heal, but I was still in occasional discomfort, I started to notice a red dent on the side of my top ball where it was pressing in, also more of my bar was becoming visible at the bottom - classic signs of my body rejecting it. So I decided to go back to my piercer and see what he said was best to do.
September 14th I go back to the studio, my piercer was not there but a female piercer Lucy was, I explained to her my worries, she took me straight into the room to take a look. She asked me a lot of questions, about when I had it done, how much it had been hurting, had the placement moved at all. She then told me that my 'Christina' resembled more of just a regular surface piercing, it was too low down and the bar used was too short. She told my I was best to take it out and get it redone, so I went that option I really do like that piercing in my pubic mound area, even though it's makes shaving a million times more difficult! She carefully took out my surface bar , which didn't hurt at all then told me to come back the following week so she herself can re pierce me. I couldn't wait!
My piercing soon healed up though I was left with a tiny scar where my top ball caused me some irritation, but that should disappear over time. Exactly a week later I was back at the studio, really excited also nervous at the same I was ready to get my Christina back!
I signed the paperwork and chatted to Lucy, she asked how I was doing and was I ready! She took me into the room I undressed, She put her gloves on then inspected where my old piercing was, feeling the scar tissue, she told me it might be a little more painful than usual due the amount scar tissue, I said no problem the pain will be worth it. Next she got on her knees to mark me up using ink on a cocktail stick making sure it was in line, then she measured the area after this was done we both stood in front of the mirror as she showed me where the bar will be and told me that having the top of the bar higher up it should limit it catching, be more comfortable when sitting and so that it is visible when I'm standing.
Next I lay down on the table Lucy re checked her markings and measurements, then clamped me before I knew it she was telling me to take a deep breathe, and in went the needle. I'm not going to lie it hurt! But once the jewellery was in place it felt fine. She cleaned the area , then we both stood in front of the mirror again so I could see my new piercing, it looked even better! The bar is twice the size in length than the last one. I was very happy with the results.
When I got my pants on it was time for my next piercing my other nipple, as a way to say sorry I was offered a free piercing of my choice, so I opted to have my left nipple done as I already had my right done and felt it was time to get them matching. So I whipped my top and bra off, Lucy had a look at my other nipple piercing then marked up my nipple, I checked out the placement then lay down back on the table. Lucy was quick! She had me clamped and telling me to take a deep breathe, before I knew it the needle had gone in and she was threading the jewellery through, I hardly felt a thing, very different from my first piercing.
Lucy cleaned me up and put a dressing on my nipple as it was bleeding quite a bit, she explained the aftercare to me then asked me to come in the following week so she can check on my Christina piercing and change the bar to a shorter one if need be, as she put in a larger bar to accommodate any swelling as she had to pierce through scar tissue. She also warned me about my balls sinking into my skin, and as soon as I notice this to come straight back to the studio and if I couldn't get there then just to take the piercing out myself.
I thanked Lucy for everything, she is an awesome piercer very friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable. It's only been a couple of days since having my piercings and everything feels fine, I have no trouble with my Christina like before, it just catches occasionally on my pants but apart from that, it causes me no trouble. Same goes for my nipple no pain, though I still stick to my padded bras - those things are lifesavers! Everything is looking just fine, although around the top of my Christina I do have quite a bit of purple bruising and it is quite tender to touch. I keep strictly to my cleaning routine for both piercings using warm salt water twice a day, to make sure my piercing heal nicely and keep infections at bay.
Fingers crossed second time round lucky!
