My decision to get a VCH piercing was quite a sudden one. I'd been craving a new piercing for about a week (I don't leave much time between getting them, I'm quite badly addicted!), and had decided to go see my regular piercer for ideas on what to get.

He told me he fancied doing a VCH and thought it'd look pretty cool, so I asked a few questions about what it entails; pain, aftercare, length of sexlessness, all the usual questions that would accompany said piercing.
I've always liked Mark, he's been the one to do almost all of my piercings and has been flawless in advice and technique. He explains everything fully, includes risk factors and chances of infection if piercings aren't looked after properly. He doesn't leave out the nitty gritty, which in my opinion is the most important part. If you don't understand the hazards, you shouldn't get the piercing, because it's sod's law that you'll end up getting some kind of infection and won't know how to deal with it.
So after a few minutes of discussion on the subject at hand, I had made up my mind and told him I was happy to go through with it, so he got his equipment ready while I stripped down and jumped up on the bed.
He said the anasthetic would be the most uncomfortable part of the whole procedure, and would burn a bit like mild cystitis. He could've done it without numbing, but it was a very *very* sensitive area, so I wasn't keen on that idea, and neither was he.
He applied the anasthetic, and for about 10 seconds all I could feel was burning. It was very intense, and the feeling had made me begin to crawl upwards on the bed until I managed to bang my head on the wall behind me. He laughed, and said I was reacting better than most do, which I guess was comforting to know. Mild cystitis was putting it lightly. It felt like it was on fire! However, it only lasted a few seconds, which was a huge relief.
After a few minutes he tried poking at my clitoris with a toothpick to see if I could feel any pain, and it was still quite sensitive to touch, so he applied more 'banana spray' to the area, waited a few more minutes, and had another poke, and I couldn't feel much of anything. Once he was happy with the numbness, he began to go through the breathing technique with me, deep breaths in through the nose, and exhaling through the mouth. The needle went in on the third exhale, and there was absolutely no pain at all!
I was amazed at how easy it was to go through with, and I say that in spite of the fact that I have 22 piercings, because it doesn't matter what I get or where I get it, I'm still anxious and apprehensive as hell when it comes to actually getting the piercing. I forget how painless they are!
Once he puts the jewellery in, he takes some pictures for his IAM page and lets me see. I fell in love with it straight away; it was so perfect and neatly placed!
Aftercare was simple. Saline solution three times a day, and he said it'd heal much better and faster if I urinated on it. The thought of cupping my wee and splashing it back on myself made me cringe slightly, so I settled with leaning forwards as much as I could when I went to the loo. It must've helped because it was fully healed in two days! A lot of people think/say it takes at least two weeks, but I think that's a misunderstanding. I was fully functional and back to having sex within three days of having the piercing! Happy happy days!
In comparison to other piercings, it was nothing. The pain was next to zero, the healing process was quick and hassle-free, and I have had no signs of infection or rejection. I must have quite tolerable skin, because all of my piercings so far have stayed nicely in place with little or no problems!
I am now making immediate plans to get my fourchette pierced, and a few labia rings to ladder up the sides. My piercing count is forever increasing, and I couldn't be happier with the work Mark's done! He's pierced me 20 times now, and I don't think I'd go to anyone else for a piercing now, he makes me feel safe and secure and explains everything to me fully and makes sure I'm happy and prepared to go through with the piercing before anything else. He puts the customer first, and always ensures positive results!
