TToday I finally got my vertical hood piercing. (9 days after dreaming up the idea...)

Both looked at me with condescending faces and my one friend even said "um... yeh because you will do it. Pretty sure you're all talk." A challenge had begun. I went home that night and began researching the idea just to try and convince myself that I was INSANE for entertaining the idea. I went on dozens of websites... including bmezime.com and read article after article late into the night. I was hooked. The positive responses were overwhelming and this scared me. I am by no means crazy in the bedroom. In fact I am a virgin but this piercing intrigued me and what a lot of woman said "its like having a little secret in your pants". I wanted that secret. I met up with my best mate a couple days later and mentioned the idea. She said she had heard of them/ looked into it but was nowhere near crazy enough to go ahead and do it. I had be judging her r esponse and when I saw that she was ok with it said that I was considering getting mine done. I told her I had researched it a fair amount and the vertical hood piercing was the one that appealed to me the most out of the two. She said that she would go with me and hold my hand. So it was set.
I am studying for exams at the moment so considered getting the piercing in my break. After a real bad week with uni, boys, friends and so on I decided I really need a little something to keep me happy... a little secret. I called my friend up and she said she would make the appointment for the weekend. I found a better place in the city so made an appointment there instead for Sunday morning 11.30am.
Saturday night came and I was freaking out. I couldn't sleep I was so excited. Nervous, jittery EVERYTHING! It was intense. My friend picked me up and we caught the train in to the city.
We arrived at the Piercing place and I filled in the forms. Next I had to choose my jewelry. I couldn't believe how big the end balls were! I ended up choosing a little shiny crystal one that was a bit more expensive than the others but if I was gonna go through with this it may as well have been properly.
Next I was shown into the room accompanied by my friend. The piercer (a very nice young girl) told me to hop on the table and get my undies off. (I wore a dress and had fully waxed the region 2 days before- which I recommend doing).
I lay down while she steralised everything and got me marked up. Apparently I have a very narrow and fragile hood so she had to call the other piecer in to hell hold all the bits! I really thought the whole experience would have been so much more awkward but it wasn't at all. They kept assuring me they saw "ginies" all day and it was no big deal. Their assurances were not needed however because I just felt totally relaxed.
Eventually after much prodding and poking in my nether regions (the catching tube was a bit uncomfortable but bearably) she said to me "Deep break" POKE!
I wont lie and say I didn't hurt. Because it did. A lot. I kind of spasmed a little but my friend held both my hands and soothed me through it. Next bit hurt a little less – putting the tube through. Eventually the jewelry was in and I was DONE! I couldn't believe how quickly the pain went. I sat up and was a bit shaky, had some water and she talked me through the aftercare procedure. It was all pretty simple. I then popped my undies back on and left with my friend to go get a coffee. There was a little bit of spotting from the piercing but not too much. Every now and then while walking it would sort of spasm (mildly) like someone had pinched it and then disappear. This disappeared after a couple hours.
Needless to say I was grinning like a chessire cat. I had actually gone through with this INSANE IDEA! I couldn't believe it. I was proud as punch and wanted to shout to the world "I GOT MY HOOOO HAAAH PIERCED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The *bumpy* train ride home was quite a laugh. My friend and I giggled like idiots- mainly due to my facial expressions and the WEIREST nicest sensations in my happy place!
Once in the car she found the bumpiest way home and continually breaked causeing my jeans to rub *there*. She thought it was hilarious.
I would definitely recommend getting this piercing done- just because. I can now say I had 2 strangers between my legs with a needle and I survived.
My little piercing (I've named it) is just adorable and it makes me smile everytime I think/ look at it!
I am the biggest scardy cat I know and get embarrassed pretty easily. This has given my sexual confidence a boost that I cannot begin to explain.
