After reading everyone's detailed stories, no need to hear mine. You have questions, and I have the answers.

-- Where did you get it done? RA Shop, Big John. Baton Rouge, LA. Big John has done 6 piercings for me, and I always recommend him to everyone that is thinking about getting some metal. The shop is clean; he sterilizes everything, and he's really calm and collected.
-- How bad did it hurt? Honestly, I only hurt when the needle was going through. One very brief pain. After that, no problems at all. A friend got hers done after me, and she made a lot more of a reaction than I did. Her legs kicked up, and she made a really ugly face. Don't kick your legs. It makes it a lot harder for whoever is down there. Guess it all depends on your tolerance for pain. I've had 6 other piercings (none of which are as daring as this one) and the actual piercing process has never been an issue for me, but I was usually sore during the healing. VCH and my nose both only took a week for them to not be sensitive at all.
-- What about bleeding? Other than the initial few drops, I don't think I bled at all.
-- How did you feel the next day? No lie, I ran 5 miles within 24 hours of the piercing. I figured I would be waddling around with my knees out for a day or two, but even walking out of the RA shop, I felt fine. I was careful about sitting in the car, but that did not hurt either. Going for a run the next day was probably not the greatest idea...but it was just too pretty outside to stay inside.
-- One week later? Everything was great. This is the only piercing that I didn't have to change any of my daily routines. With my ear piercings, I always had to adjust the way I slept. VCH was fine all the time, no matter what. Cleaning the bar the first week was a tiny bit sensitive, but again, very easy. Because this area is not out in the open, underwear usually helps to keep out a lot of the germs. Big John said to wait a week before sex, but I broke the rules again here. My boyfriend got back from army training after only 4 days...oops. Needless to say, he was very surprised when he found my new metal down stairs. I just made him take it easy since it was still so new.
-- What did you use for after care? I only used Dial soap. No salt baths, no special cleaners. Just Dial. It worked great.
-- One month later? LOVE IT. Still can't believe I did it. I've told a few of my friends about it, and they don't believe it either. I am looking forward to trying out some new jewelry soon. I read about people gauging it, but that doesn't appeal to me at the moment.
-- Would you recommend it? Definitely. It is crazy to be able to say, but this is one of the best piercing experiences I have had. The most nerve racking part of the whole thing for me was getting half naked in front of my piercer. I am a very anti-naked kind of person, so that was awkward for me. If you are reading this, you are obviously considering getting one. I say DO IT!
-- Why did you get it done? My friend said she was going to and I jokingly agreed to. Somehow, that turned into me actually looking it up on the internet, and finally doing it. All in all, I would say it only took a week for me to get it done. I have always been kinda hard to please if you know what I mean, so I figured this would help out, and I was right.
-- How does your boyfriend like it? At first, he was a little weirded out and startled and not really sure what to think about it. I did not tell him that I was even thinking about getting it done, so it was a total surprise. Now he likes it, and will randomly start playing with it, so obviously I don't mind that at all ;)
Summary: If you are considering the VCH, get 'er done! I can't say enough how easy this one was for me. I love it, love it, love it, and I guarantee that you will too! One more good thing about piercings is that you can always just take them out if you change your mind. I don't think you'll have to worry about that, though :) Why wait? Go get it done tomorrow!
