I got my vertical hood piercing a little over two weeks ago. I called and asked how experienced the pierced was she said she did it too many times to count she says. I wish she could have told me the real amount or I should have asked how many years but I wanted it done. My friend is the one who told me I should get it. I didn't think I would really do it I was nervous until I was on the table. I love piercing and the vertical hood piercing is my ninth so far.

She got ready with the clam and all which hurt also but just more uncomfortable than anything. She told me to take a deep breath and not to flinch. She asked if I was ready I said yep and there went the needle. Wow did it hurt. Only for three seconds though then I was fine. No blood or anything I was able to walk to my truck fine and drive fine too. Although I found myself sitting funny because I think I was afraid to sit all the way down on the seat. I soon got over that. I tried to promise myself that I would not have sex for at least one month. That didn't work out I did it one week after it was done. The sex was good hurt a little because the ball on the ring was rubbing on my labia. Which it still has abrasions on it but is healing fast. I was told from the piercing/tattoo shop that I should not change the ring until three months. I think that is a really long time. But it shouldn't be that big of a deal, I hope. I often go four wheeling and snowmobiling a lot so things might get interesting on those rides.
I think my ring looks beautiful and it makes me feel sexy. I am also thinking about getting a triangle I love the look of it. But it is very close to the clitoris and I wouldn't want anyone to make a mistake and hit it and cause nerve damage. So I will wait and think on it for a while. I think I still have quite a few years to think about it. My boyfriend hates piercings and he thinks they look trashy. Which is kind of funny since I have nine. He didn't even know I got my vertical hood piercing until I told his so he would stop trying to grab me there. He didn't like the idea until he saw it. We have been together for four and a half years so I or we need to spice things up sometimes.
I love looking at the vagina piercings I think they are so sexy. I'm bi so that may have something to do with it. But in the town I live in it is pretty hard to find any bi or lesbians here. Where I live when a girl looks a certain way at them they might want to fight you. Today is my first day of wherein a skirt because I rarely where them I thought it might me a nice day out to where one. I normally just where jeans, some of them are tight and can be very stimulating. I try not to where them when I go to work because I don't really want to be wet during a eight to ten hour day. I have only told three people about my piercing and think its kind of fun to have a secret.
One thing that I discovered is not many thongs are 100% cotton. Unless you go to Victoria Secret. But they are not too fancy, the ones I found. I clean my piecing two to three times a day with sea salt water. And occasionally use antibacterial soap. I have also read that you can use a small drop of lavender baby oil and it can help the piecing relax. Just don't get the soap or oil in the piercing and never take the piercing out when it is infected. You can always go to your doctor and ask for a cream or some penicillin or infection medication. I have gone to my doctor for an earring infection and they game me some mild infection medication.
