So I had been a body piercer for almost 11 years but then switched over to tattooing for the last 7 years. I pretty much had only stuck to doing my own piercings and favors for friends (as long as they paid for the needle and the jewelry).

I had done the P.A. before on others and had only performed the piercing on myself twice but it never worked out. The first time I did it on myself I had used a 10 G. needle and Jewelry. I touched the needle to my skin a chickened out. The second time I went a step higher and used 8 G. and somehow managed to get it done but in running the jewelry through I lost connection between jewelry and needle, hence beginning my dilemma. I finally forced the jewelry through the whole, causing lots of bleeding but I was finally happy. When I had reached for the captive bead the ring managed to turn and slip right out and into the toilet, man was I mad... I mean I finally had it and this is what I get.

So about a week ago, after 7 years from my last attempt and having gone through various other genital piercings, I finally decided it was time once again. This time I took two steps down and use a 12 G. needle and C.B.R. I ran the receiving tube through (lubed of course) with ease and then proceeded to push up and make my marking just slightly to the right of center. For those who may not know the marking and piercing point is on the underside of the penis and just below the Head, I mean not even one mm.

Any way back to my tale of terror, after making the entry mark, as to avoid a vein that was direct center, I proceeded to push the needle through. It was a matter of a half a second and the piercing itself was done, then of course the worry hit me of "Am I going to lose connection again, or is it gonna slip out" but to my surprise all went well. I was comfortable and bleeding very minimal.

The horror started later that night when I had to urinate. As I started to pee it was like pissing razors, some of the worse pain I have ever felt in my life, that mixed with the fact of seeing blood in my urine caused me to almost pass out and puke. I immediately thought to myself I cant do this for a few days, would I have to feel this way every time I pee... HELL NO!!! I quickly undid the bead and ran the jewelry out and wrapped up my burning friend, as it was bleeding like a faucet.

So now a few days go by and the healing of the wound had completed, or so I thought. The night the scabbing finally fell off, I just so happened to have to pee shortly after I noticed it was gone. I urinated like normal, all except for one strange thing... I had pee coming out from the supposed healed entry hole.

Out of curiosity I went to my jewelry box and removed a large 16 G. ring and put it to the spot and to my surprise it went right through. At this point I said crew it and popped in a large 14 that had and that was easy as pie. I gave the 14 G. a day to settle but it was a bit uncomfortable being the thinness of the jewelry, so of course I took my original 12 G. and popped it right through and to my surprise it didn't hurt, bleed or anything, just a little bit of discomfort having something hanging through my urethra.

It has been 3 days since that point and im still getting used to my new friend but it is absolutely amazing that it is already completely healed, no crusties or burning. I am now a happy camper and will be going to 10 G. within the week and hoping to make it to 4 G in the very near future.

I will say this... If you decide to get a Prince Albert try not to do it yourself, though easy, you can hurt yourself very easily, not to mention if you don't know which size jewelry you need it can cause some pretty bad pain as well (especially if the ring is too small in diameter). If you do decide to do it either go to a trust worthy shop or do your research thoroughly. Fortunately i have years of experience.

With a little patience and a decent tolerance, those of you who would like to get this piercing will love it when it is done and healed, i just got lucky so dont use my story for too much reference.

Happy Piercing!
