Well, I finally got my Prince Albert done a little while ago, and am here to share my experience. I'd wanted it for a few years, I'd always thought it looked cool and probably felt cool too. I just never got it done because I thought it would be too painful. I always told everyone that I would get it one day, I just didn't know when it would be. My girlfriend at the time always talked about it, but still I couldn't do that to myself, or so I thought.

After having it always on my mind and telling people about it, I decided to do some research on it. Reading many experiences, watching videos, pictures, aftercare guidelines and all I could find. It had been awhile and I went up to the shop and was deciding what I wanted to get done, if I was ready for it yet. I wasn't, and got my septum done instead. It wouldn't be much longer though.

On October 1st 2007, I finally got what I had wanted for so long. Just over a week after getting my septum done, I mentally prepared to have it done, once and for all. I was on the way home from school and just decided that today was the day, I need to stop putting it off and do it. I got home called the shop and found out the price for it. I got the money and drove up there. I walked in really nervous and still not completely sure that I would actually get it done. When I asked the lady behind the counter about it, the manager/piercer overheard and asked me if I was the one who just called. I said yeah and we started talking about it and with her and the other lady encouraging me, I said ok, lets do it, trying to sound brave. After filling out the forms, I was asked to go to the back. I walked back there, the curtains were shut so the general public couldn't walk in and see what was going on, and was awaiting instructions. She asked me to sit in the chair while she prepared her equipment and such. The whole time I was asking myself was I sure?, and just shocked I was going through with it and that it was about to happen. When she finished with her equipment she asked was I sure and ready and I said yeah. I figured that I'd gone this far, and I'd be a fool to stop now (and risk looking like a loser)

I was asked which size I wanted to go with, either a 10ga or an 8ga cbr. I choose the 8ga because if I'm going do it, I'd rather do it right and bigger. She briefly explained the procedure, but I knew just about all of it from all my researching I had done. She asked me to pull it out and let her see what "she had to work with." I was much smaller than usual, almost like a turtle putting his head in his shell. She examined it and did the marking she had to do. She laid me back in the chair and asked one last time if I was ready. I said yeah one final time and it began.

The feeling of a gloved hand on your penis and knowing a hollow needle is about to be put through it is something you don't easily forget. When you see the needle even going in that general direction, it's weird. I couldn't watch because I was lying down and couldn't see what was going on. I definitely felt the receiving tube going in and it was not a pleasant feeling, just like I read. It was an uncomfortable pressure mixed with a burning sensation. I was glad when that it was finished. The needle was next though. I was told too start breathing in deep breathes. All of the sudden, there was a sudden, sharp pain and I though it was over. Then I heard "this is the worst of it" and felt the taper and larger 8ga cbr slide though. It was definitely the worst of it and did hurt to a degree, but it was over and done really quick and was certainly tolerable. Next I feel some movement down there and hear "all done". I moved very slowly to sit up and look at my now pierced penis. It was great. It looked good and felt even better knowing I had finally done it. What a feeling of self-accomplishment. I put everything back in my pants, paid, and then ate and candy bar and had a water at the shop because I felt a little light headed and wanted to be ok for the drive home. I drove home after a little bit with no problem and walked funny and was real careful around it that day and the following couple days. No blood except the first morning after. Took care of it like advised and now it's a great addition to my body and other piercings. I've had it stretched twice since I got it to a 4ga and am still very happy and satisfied I did it. If you're thinking about and really want it, do it! It's not as bad as you'd initially think, and while it does hurt some, it doesn't last long and the satisfaction and the piercing will last a lot longer!
