For quite some time now I have been toying with the idea of getting a genital piercing. I couldn't really say when the idea started to stick, probably a while after I had my tongue pierced. Then even more so after I had gotten my first tattoo. Getting a genital piercing was something that sounded erotic and stimulating, but also very taboo and dangerous, all the better, right?
At A Glance Author Deus Contact Deus@bme.anon When It just happened Artist Michael Studio 2Guys Body Piercing Location Presque Isle, Me So after spending a few weeks considering my options, I go to a local tattoo/piercing artist, "Dragon Guy" to ask him his opinion, he said I was crazy and wouldn't do it, so he referred me to another parlor downstate which was about a four hour drive. I was bummed. I wanted the piercing desperately, but when I called to get a quote they told me a hundred bucks, I basically said "Screw that." considering it would cost me about hundred to travel there and back, so the penile poke was put on hold to my dismay, so I decided to wait a couple months to save up my money for the trip. A couple months comes and so do hard times, so I decide unwillingly to put the piercing on hold.
Skip ahead a few more months and ta-da a new piercing parlor opens up in my town, "How convenient." I thought. 2Guys Body Piercing, opened up right on main street, it took me about a week to notice that the old shop there was gone and to read the sign, I was quite excited. The parlor owner Mike boasted excellent credentials and experience. So I got the courage to go in today to see about an apadravya. Everyone was friendly and courteous, I was met at the door by his assistant/protege Miles, and told him what I was after. MIles told me that I'd have to wait just a second for Mike to get back, so I waited, then Mike arrived and I told him what I was hoping for, unfortunately I'd have to do some measuring and whatnot and come back later and wait for my own personalized piece of jewelery. I was impatient though and excited for the experience so he recommended getting a PA first and see how I handle it, then next time around he wouldn't have to pop the urethra twice, so I sit down reluctantly to think over my options and then, I decide to go through with it. I tell them I'm doing it.
So they take my ID, have me fill out all of the paperwork, then explain in thorough detail all of my aftercare needs and also give me a brochure explaining again in detail everything I need to know about my aftercare. They were professional about everything, but also had the levity and friendliness you hope to have from someone about to handle your bits and pierce them.
We went into the piercing room and Mike and Miles explained the entire procedure in thorough detail so I would know what to expect. They left the room and told me to take off my pants and shorts and sit back and yell when I was ready, I did so and they came in. Everything was meticulous, if not for the shoes we were wearing, I'd have eaten off the floor. Everything was sterilized, hands were washed repeatedly, gloves were put on and the inspection began. Mike used a magnifier to search the v below the head of my penis to see which side had less blood vessels so there would be less bleeding, the right side ended up having the least so thats where he marked. The most uncomfortable part of the experience was the receiving tube being inserted into my urethra, I guess they have a tendency to not stay where you want them to so there was a little bit of fumbling to get it right, but in the end, he had it lined up perfect, although a bit uncomfortably, grabbed the needle, told me to breathe, I felt the tiniest pain, somewhere between getting flicked in the ear and snapping your fingers, your probably saying snapping your fingers doesn't hurt, well that gives you the idea, being flicked in the ear hurts more. This was in between.
We both were shocked and delighted to see that I'd barely bled a drop, I guess I was fortunate in this considering some people I've read of, and that he's pierced previously, bled like stuck pigs. I didn't get wrapped and he told me I wouldn't bleed a lot, but I would most likely spot for about 72 hours, with the majority of my bleeding occurring in the morning. Overall this was an excellent experience, and I definitely plan to go back and get my Apadravya done there once my PA is healed. Thanks 2guys for the wonderful and professional experience.
