I am writing this letter to share my experience with having a Prince Albert. I have had mine for about six years now.

I am thirty-six years old and My Prince Albert is my one and only piercing. I had one rather large tattoo put on my right arm when I was fifteen; I had it for six whole months before my dad saw it. Of course the shit hit the fan that day. I had the fear of God instilled upon me for the next six months. I never really considered any more body modifications because those six months. I was right around twenty-five when I really started to think about having additional body modification done. I really thought about another tattoo but I really did not want something that permanent again. My wife wanted me to have my ear pierced at one point. I just couldn't do it it's not me. I wanted something I could enjoy.
After a couple of years discussing with a couple of my friends about their experiences with body piercing I decided to get a piercing of my own. My original plan was a nipple ring except my nipples are way to sensitive for it.
After what I thought was plenty of research and careful consideration I decided to go for the gusto! I figured I might as well get the Prince Albert. At least that way anything else I decide to do in the future wouldn't be so bad in comparison.
I mean we are talking about my family jewels, my pride and joy. I had to do a lot of investigation before I dove in HEAD-first. Although I did not know anybody who had a Prince Albert. Not even a friend of a friend, I was pretty much on my own with this one. I talked to several different people in the body piercing business and the majority of them told me to go to Annie. They said she was the best around town especially for what I was looking to have done.
When I finally got up the nerve to actually get it done, I drove over to make an appointment and find out exactly what to do to get prepared for my piercing, and just my luck she was available immediately no waiting, no more excuses, it was show time. Annie was very professional and comforting which really helped to calm my nerves. She explained exactly how the procedure would work and that she would be using a local numbing agent to help with the initial pain.
Than Annie asked me again do you realize that from now on when you take a leak you will be pissing out two holes?
Oh sure! I said not a problem let's do this before I chicken out!
What the hell was I thinking? Is pissing like a damn garden sprinkler for the rest of my life going to be worth it?
While I was choosing from a rather large selection of rings, It was explained to me that the ring should be large enough to allow for the size when I am erect. Other wise it would work more like a piano string, Which would then become rather uncomfortable. We then went up stairs to the studio, As I was lying on my back with my legs hanging off the end of the table, my pants down around my ankles. She was pulling her chair up between my legs to begin her task. I told her that I am kind of jumpy so don't get to close to my feet. She just laughed at me. I was really expecting some excruciating pain and much to my surprise it really wasn't all that bad.
The entire process took about 30 seconds tops, and she was done.
I am very pleased with the great job she did for me and mine!
As far as the healing process goes it was very slow. I know everybody says that a genital piercing should heal rather quickly, That was not the case with mine. I have had several girl friends that have received a piercing down there and most of them did heal fairly quickly.
When I was at the black hole getting instructions for the care and cleaning of my piercing. I was told that the Prince Albert is one of the slowest piercings to heal. Mine took a good six months maybe closer to nine months to be completely healed. Just so you know, yes I did follow all of the care instructions I was given down to the letter. Even now on occasion something as small as a pubic hair will get down in the hole and it is really uncomfortable.
Now for some really good news it definitely works very well!
I seem to have hit just the right SPOT for most of the women I have been with since I got my Prince Albert. If they enjoy it, then I love it. I chose this piercing for myself but I have found there are some awfully nice perks to having a Prince Albert!

P.S. I have found that if you slide your barbell back up into the urethra it is much easier to control the direction of fluid travel.
I.e. don't piss on your shoes.
