Ever since my knowledge of piercing, I had been curious when it came to genital piercings. Once could say that they have a "great risk – great reward" type of reputation. It requires courage to go though with having your manhood stuck with a rather large needle. However, most people agree that there are great physical/sexual advantages, and I've always enjoyed the visual look of genital piercings, too.

While this was my first genital piercing, I am not virgin to the piercer's needle. I have two lobe piercings, an industrial (14ga), my tongue pierced (12ga), and my nipples (12ga), too. All of those piercings are at least 2 years old, so it has been a while since I was back in the chair. However, I had meticulously planned this piercing, knowing the date I would get it done months in advance. Everything was in place, and there was no way I would be backing out.
Friday, September 21st finally arrived. I worked my usual hours from 10am to 4pm, and went over to Pleasurable Piercings in Hawthorne, NJ. It has been my shop of choice for all my piercings, and I have nothing to complain about in terms of professionalism, knowledge, cleanliness, or quality. Unfortunately, getting those four things means you'll have to sacrifice another thing: price. My piercing would cost me $85 by the time everything was said and done.
When I walked into the shop, it was empty except for the two counter attendants. I greeted them and told them that I wanted a Prince Albert. I don't know, maybe it's me, but when I said that, I felt more respected by them, a piercing equal perhaps. After all, most people do not see or notice my piercings, and I always feel under-pierced when I walk into a piercing shop. The employees there always have some of the greatest facial piercings, and I feel inferior. But, I digress.
I had a small discussion with them about jewelry, and after explaining my future stretching plans, it was agreed that I would be pierced with an 8ga ¾" diam. CBR, which had been my first choice anyway. I don't know if my nervousness showed, but I was. While filling out the consent forms, my had was shaking terribly, making my already bad handwriting even worse. I paid my money, and, in a fraction of a second, the piercer came out to tell me that he was ready.
I walked into the piercing room and sat down on the chair, which, Jamie, the piercer had already put a paper towel like sheet onto. I wasn't very talkative, just checking out the room, while Jamie did his thing: the gloves, opening the sterilized equipment, etc. He asked if I had any questions, and I replied that I did not. He then told me to lower my pants down enough so that he could do his job. I complied.
Trying to break the ice a bit, I told Jamie that I was relieved that my penis was not rock hard. He replied that it's the nerves that keeps it down. Jamie marked placement just as desired, slightly to the right of my frenum. Next came the receiving tube. Since the piercing would be at 8ga, the tube would then be 6ga, and honestly, that looked more imposing than the needle. He warned me that it would be uncomfortable, and the receiving tube entering my urethra was a different feeling. The entering part of tube burned as it moved down (or would it be up?) my urethra, but the rest of the tube really had no sensation. When he finished positioning it, there was no feeling, and it could have easily been forgotten about.
The needle was less easy to forget about. He first caught me slightly off guard on when he was going to pierce, and I didn't have enough time to get my breathing lined up with the needle. The pain was intense, but very short lived. Both my nipples and industrial were of longer duration and of at least equal or greater pain.
Here's where it gets bloody. All this fun play got my penis happy. I started to get a partial erection, and that brought all the blood. Jamie rapped me up with a bunch of tissues and the infamous latex glove and a rubber band to keep the glove on. I zipped back up, underwear snugly fitting, added a $10 tip, took my Provon for cleaning, and left with a gigantic smile on my face. Some people say that walking and driving can be a little weird, but I never felt any difference.
Upon my arrival home, I decided it was time to take my first trip to the bathroom. While so many people complain about the stinging pain of urination, I felt no difference, and sitting down to go does not bother me like it does to some others. However, the tissues and glove were already soaked in blood. One would think that they were meant to be that color, so completely and thoroughly deep red. I then popped into the shower for my first cleaning. Blood dripped at a slow pace from the pierced hole as I cleaned with the Provon. Cleaning turned out to be more of a chore for the first few days, since the motions gave me a slight erection every time, an invitation for more blood.
As to keep the blood from ruining my clothes, I followed the advice of my piercer. He suggested that after the glove, use a plastic sandwich bag and tissues to keep blood from going everywhere. Well, by the end of the first day, two bags were thrown out, dripping with blood. My briefs did not take well to the padding. While I rarely had a problem with it during the day, at nights, I just kept with the plastic bag and sweat pants. There was too much pressure, causing additional bleeding and little comfort.
The next three days were spent with family, friends, and another Monday of college classes at NJIT (New Jersey Institute of Technology), where I am a junior there. All of the extra movement kept the bleeding going, but to a lesser and lesser extent. I still continued cleaning twice a day, as recommended. However, the blood thing was starting to get me a little aggravated. I am still captivated by the look and feel of piercing, but the continued bleeding was starting to make me regret getting it.
Thankfully, the next day, I only had two drops of blood. The following day nothing at all, allowing me to ditch the padding on Thursday, the sixth full day of having the piercing. Without the plastic bag, I have nearly no trouble with my briefs fighting with my Price Albert.
A few more days have passed since then, and, so, I'd just like to add a few more things. I still sit to urinate, but I can stand if I wanted to without spraying myself. I think the 8ga ring really helped stop leakage from the bottom hole, and the ring does not seem to make much of a difference to the stream. However, that may change soon. Already after only about 10 days, I can feel my PA stretching. The ring moves very freely despite how fresh the piercing is. The slightest accidental touch can send it, too. I can't get even close to that kind of movement from my nearly three year old nipple piercings. Also, I find it funny that I do not really feel the ring itself. I sense the piercing as a whole, but not the ring. It is like the exact opposite from my tongue piercing, where I can always feel the barbell, but seldom anything else. And, lastly, since the blood has cleared up now, and I am more fully enjoying the piercing, I can't wait to get to try it out! However, I will pressure myself to make sure I allow it to heal the two months Pleasurable suggested before trying anything serious. There's no question, I plan to stretch my PA up to my 2ga goal, but all in due time. And, there's a whole world of other genital piercing to add, and it will not be before long I'll be back in the piercer's chair.
