Well I recently got a frenum piercing, just about 3 weeks ago as a matter of fact. It was my first genital piercing, befor that, I really had no desire for any type of genital piercing at all, I think I'm hooked now though.

There is a local store called 7th heaven in Sedalia where my piercing studio (the one I got to, I didn't mean that like I owned it) is located that I've heard was offering free piercing with the purchase of jewelry, I wasn't interested in this at all because I couldn't even bring myself to think about the quality of these piercings if they were going to be giving them away for free. But just to be on the safe side I gave them a call and asked how this worked, much to my surprise and my amazing luck, it was a promotional idea they had worked out with Skin Thieves, the studio I go to, where you buy the jewelry from them, they give you a coupon and send you up the road to the studio. What luck, my frenum had cost me 65 bucks and a 15 buck tip (always tip, they really appreciate it) straight from the studio, here I could spend 50 (and the 15 buck tip) for two CBR's and get my nipple and prince albert done by the exact same people that I would normally go too. Sounded like a deal to me. So I bought my rings and headed down the road to the studio.
Got there and after some problems had to go back and get a different sized ring, but then I was back and we were ready to start. We did the nipple first, we went through the scar tissue from where I'd had them done before, so it hurt, but I think I handled it better the second time. Maybe I was in a better frame of mind about it, I don't know.
Then it was time for the prince albert, I dropped the pants, still had my shirt off from the nipple, something to squeeze if the pain was bad, but I wasn't expecting it too be, even though my frenum didn't hurt at all, you still have this feeling that if you can pierce your penis, hell, nothing is gonna hurt. Adam lubed up and inserted the recieving tube down my urethra, this was quite uncomfortable, at least for me anyway, maybe other people are different. It was then time to pierce. After a couple of deep breaths he pushed the needle through. There was pain but really not bad at all. Not what one might expect, it really was quite tolerable. Then he inserted the jewelry and told me to be careful sitting up, he didn't want me to faint, but I was fine, I jumped (ok maybe I didn't jump, but I did get up just fine) up and gave him his tip and headed for home.
Later that night I peed for the first time, it wasn't bad at all, in fact I didn't notice any stinging at all, I was expecting it to be bad, I've had a catheter before, and THAT HURT. This wasn't even a tingle. I could also pee standing up just fine, which I liked, personally it just seems to be easier for me, but hey girls get multiple orgasms, so we still got the short end of that stick :-)
I cleaned up in the shower later and went to bed. I woke up the next morning with a totally ruined pair of underwear on. I really should have wrapped the little (I mean big) guy up before I went to bed. Luckily it was just my underwear and a bit on the inside of the pants I wore to bed.
Besides that I've had nothing but good fun with it. I definitly feel it when I walk, something that I never experienced with my frenum. Its only been a few days now, and I know its early on, but I don't expect any trouble from this piercing. Now I just need it to be healed and stretched to about 2g so I can try it out in bed.

ps. in order of least painful to most I'm gonna say (for me at least) it was my lobes (with a gun, bad) frenum, tongue, prince albert, and nipples. But all were plenty tolerable. None was so horrible that I did much more than curse once and move on with my life.
