Getting my PA was my second piercing after my tongue and I spent a long time wondering whether to get it done or not, the healing, and what could go wrong. Eventually i was chatting about it with a friend and we just decided to go for it there and then. (the best way to do it).

In case you find yourself wondering about getting an erection, then in my experiance don't. I was given the choice of having a male or female piercer and opted for the male as he had been through the process himself and if anything i found the opposite to be true. I think the adrenalin prevents erections occurring just like during sport because the blood is routed to different organs
The next time i looked down it was done. The most painful part was when he inserted the aneasthetic down the end of my penis which was a sharp stinging sensation....painful but bearable. I think one of the reasons i experianced slightly more sensitivity and discomfort as well may be attributed to the fact that i am not circumcised. Many people have told me they thought that you need to be circumsised to get pierced, although i can not understand where this myth cam from as it is certainly not true.
I was told about the after care and how to keep it clean and that after some initial sensitivity it would heal very quickly. My friends healed with no problems within a week, although mine took a little longer. At first there was quite a bit of bleeding for maybe the first several hours although not much pain, and i developed a fascination for looking at myself. it looked so cool! anyway after the bleeding stopped i noticed that my foreskin was extremely swollen either bruised or filled with a liquid and did not look too sexy but this eventually dissapeared and the only pain was when i urinated for a further week. The entire healing process had taken about two weeks.
After this i would get my cock out and proudly show it if someone asked. You may think thats wierd as i would never do this normally but since the piercing my cock was almost a seperate entity. Knowing the piercing was there and seeing it and masterbating with it felt incredably good and my girlfriend (although a little intimidated at first) recently told me that it did make sex different(and better) and that now it would feel strange having sex without it there.
In terms of sexual feeling for me, the first few times were the hardest with initial entry being quite painful until the bodies produce their own lubrication. My advice here is two things, first ..dont attempt intercourse until the piercing is nearly healed (trust me it hurts!) Secondly it is a good idea to invest in some KY Jelly to avoid hurting yourself or your partner
Although the healing process might sound painful and grusome, i assure you that it was short and more uncomfortable than paoinful. I would recommend it to anyone thinking about it, and understand now when someone told me that everyone should have a genital piercing.
I recently had the hole stretched to a 4mm ring and find that if i take it out i can both cum and urinate through the hole cool! the other thing i would comment on with stretching the piercing is that it makes it harder to shoot straight during urination and out of respect for peoples carpets i now sit down! having any piercing seems to me to be addictive and very self fullfilling. As a result i am now thinking about having a second PA and would appreciate any ideas! My PA enters into the underside of my penis to one side of my banjo string, and i would like to have a symmetrical ring entering to the other side if anyone has had this done, i would appreciate their advice.
