Ok this is the story of my prince albert piercing. I've enjoyed reading about and participating in body modification for a few years now, having a couple of tattoos, my tongue pierced (since removed), my ears pierced and my mr. happy pierced. Genital piercing was brought to my immediate attention by a girl I dated for a little while in college who had her hood pierced and it seemed like she really liked it during sex. She pressed me to get a frenum but I wasn't interested at the time. To begin with the idea seemed ludicrous and was kind of revolting, but then the more I thought about it and checked out pictures and experiences the more I was turned on by the idea of having a piece of metal in my dick and the whole process which would accompany it.

For various reasons I always found excuses to put off actually getting anything done down there from worrying it would interfere with work to thinking I might be freakishly unlucky and have my dick fall off in the process. Finally last New Year's Day I was, for some reason, completely overtaken by the obsession to get it done right then. I wanted a prince albert because from the experiences it seemed like it would be most pleasurable for sex and also the simplest to heal. I also loved the way it would look. Ok so I called around to see who was open on New Year's and surprise surprise not many places were. As long as this is my little story here I wanted to make it a point to say that everyone in Chicago is constantly inundated with advertisements and blather from Jade Dragon about how they are totally the best and over-the-top as far as tattooing and body-mods go, and when I called them to ask about genital piercing they acted like I'd just asked if they wanted to share a needle with an AIDS patient. So I got ahold of Bob Jones and he was way cool and just said to come on down and he'd do it right then.

I got to the studio and Bob was there and we talked a little about the procedure and I signed the release forms and paid and whatnot and then went back into the little room with the table. At this point my mind was flying, I kind of just wanted to do it because the idea freaked me out as much as I thought it would be cool. Bob got prepped and I dropped drawers and mr. happy was shriveled up and trying to get away. I've read experiences about guys getting sprung right before they got it done but that was the absolute last thing on my mind at the time. I didn't want to watch just because I didn't want to see it coming. As a quick aside I'd had a catheter once when I got picked up and put in detox and it was horrifically painful for like three days after. I don't think any of the pain in the whole process and the healing ever came close. Anyhow Bob marked a spot a little to the side of the frenulum (better to prevent migration he said) and stuck the receiving tube in, not bad at all. He then got the needle out which looked wicked big and told me to breathe in and out a couple of times and then pushed it through. I got pierced at 10g. Anybody who says the piercing didn't hurt is a moron, of course it hurts somebody is shoving a pretty good-sized needle through your dick!!! But it wasn't as bad as a migraine (not even close) or chipping a tooth or even biting your tongue really badly. It was quick, too. As soon as he got the jewelry in I checked it out and it looked pretty sweet, and then he was like, "Oh yeah this is gonna bleed". That freaked me out a little because I didn't want to have to worry about blood on my pants while it healed. I worked on the floor of the CBOT at the time and the absolute last thing you want to have happen down there is to start bleeding through the front of your pants. You'd never hear the end of it. He wrapped it all up, though, put the glove on it and sent me home. I was completely floating on endorphins, it was probably worse than driving home drunk.

After I got out of the studio and was on my way home, the first problem became apparent. The whole process and subsequent endorphin rush had given me an enormous hard-on and seeing as how there was a fresh piercing down there it made it hurt. I basically had a raging hard-on off and on for the rest of the night, and couldn't even think about jerking off to take care of it. Peeing initially stings, but not as bad as after you get a catheter taken out. Cleaning also stings but obviously do it, it's your dick and that's the last thing you want screwed up. I managed to jerk off the day after (a little touchy), and it was pretty sore the first week, especially since I spent all day on my feet. The thing about getting this piercing though is that it stimulates the inside of your urethra which is incredibly sensitive (something I didn't know prior). Until you get used to it you'll totally get huge random hard-ons, and one time it was such a distraction for me I had to jerk off in a CBOT bathroom (I just couldn't handle walking around with a hard on all day). I'm not going to lie, the area was definitely tender for a few weeks and I didn't have sex with it until a little more than two months after I got it.

I stretched up to 8g within a month of getting it pierced and went to 6g last month. I hope to go to 2g and see what's what there. Pissing isn't a problem, it doesn't come out of the piercing, and the reason it gets a little messy is because of surface tension with the ring. I just turn the unit a ninety degrees to the right and piss carefully. Urinals are better, sometimes you get the seat on a toilet cause the stream is a little wider. As for the sex, it is awesome for me and the girls I've been with since having it have all loved it. A word of caution, though, is that I would wait until its completely healed before going at it. Even now if I overdo it it can get pretty sore, and I've had it for almost a year. Also, size up the gauges ASAP, it feels better for you and you can be a little rougher with it too. Thanks for reading my experience, and if you're on the fence about getting it done just do it and get it healed, and then you'll be so happy you did. I'm looking forward to getting my nipples done next, and then maybe a dydoe ladder or frenum ladder.
