Fairly Bloodless P.A. Experience

I never thought I'd get a P.A., that one one area that I wanted to leave well enough alone! I have my nipples pierced (8g), navel, and always wear my two nose rings, and have a lot of tattoos. My girlfriend was talking about getting her nipples pierced, and I've been itching to get something done, so I did my research on BME about P.A.'s, and decided to go for it!

I tried to find Crystal Cross to do it (she did my nipples), but she's out of the piercing business. I found out that she last worked at 13 B.C., so I figured it must have been a good place, and it was! I can't recall my piercer's name, but he trained under Crystal and worked at the Gauntlet, and he put us both in a comfortable mood.

I read the horror stories of a lot of blood gushing up to 5 days after the p.a., but I didn't have any of that problem.

The tube in the urethra was a bit more uncomfortable than I expected, but not unbearable. I didn't expect the needle to hurt as much as it did, but it hurt a LOT less than my nipples! There was only a little bit of blood once he put the jewelry in, and he said that's a good sign. He wrapped me up in tissue, and put a rubber glove over it, and we were on our way. I soaked it a little in salt water as he suggested, and that felt good.

One more thing -- I remember reading about how "painful" urination was for the first few times for most people, and I was NOT looking forward to that. I kinda "held it" for a while, then decided to head into the bathroom, where I gingerly unwrapped my member, and proceeded to pee, with much glee, since it didn't hurt AT ALL! I wrapped it back up in another glove, just in case it bled at night. There was a little spotting, but none of the gushing I've read about. The second day there was no blood at all. I got this done last Sunday, and today is Thursday, and the ring moves when I clean it (gently!), and there's no puss or blood or anything. It was even itching a bit last night, a good sign of healing. I can't wait to "test it out," but not having any kind of sex for the last few days has been a bummer, but I know it will have been worth the bit of abstinence.

I had a good experience, and it really wasn't that big of a trauma, and looks good, too! I'll probably be moving up to an 8 gauge, then later a 6 gauge, after this one has healed. I like the 10, and would recommend people getting that instead of the 12, since it's less likely to dig in to your skin. I also plan on upping the gauge on my navel ring from 14 to 12, since it has been digging a little. I don't think I'd want to go bigger on the p.a. than with the 6 gauge, because I don't want the weight of it to stretch the hole out too much, but I already know that I want to feel a little more "heft."

It's starting to get a little pleasurable when it moves around in my pants, but for the first 3 days, I was moving VERY SLOWLY. It didn't hurt, or anything like that, and it wasn't really even that sensitive. I was just afraid of banging it, or moving the ring when it was still pretty tight. And I've definitely resisted the urge to even masturbate, no sense in getting even more blood into an area which has the potential to bleed, but I woke up this morning with a raging hard-on, and wanted to, but didn't. I know I'll have to use a condom for the first few weeks of having sex, and sex isn't recommended for at least two weeks after the initial piercing, but with a healing time of between 4-6 weeks, I'll be able to have any type of sex fairly shortly. My girlfriend is wondering how it will feel to have it inside her, but she did say the idea of it does get her pretty excited. I wanted initially to get a tongue piercing, but the web was too far forward, and I don't want to take a chance on the "snake tongue," since my two blood vessels on the sides of the web are HUGE, and I know that can be dangerous. I'm still toying with the idea of a tongue ring, but really don't want to get my teeth chipped. Oh, well, guess I'll just concentrating on upping my current piercings in size, and getting more tattoos!

As far as my girlfriend's experience goes, it was a lot less traumatic for her than when I got my nipples pierced! She didn't make a sound when the needle went in, and got both done in one sitting (12 gauge). And this from a girl who has NO body mods except from one tattoo on her hip. And 3 earrings (lobe piercings). She's also healing nicely, I guess we were just meant for this!

I'd definitely recommend anyone getting a piercing done at 13 B.C., and I'm sure I'll be back there soon!
