My PA piercing |
| ||||||||||||||||
I had been pierced once before, but due to a "morals" doctor. He didn't think that it was right for someone to have their penis pierced. What business was it of his anyways? It had been removed during a hospital stay before it was healed and grew over. 8 Years later, I decided to have it done again!My wife was very hesitant for me to have it done because she thought it would hurt too much. She was also concerned about any infections and having my pecker fall off. I told her that keeping it clean would avoid any infection problems. She checked all of the piercing places here in the area, and asked questions of some people she knew (people that had different types of piercings). She kept getting good reports about a guy named Josh. Finally, she told me that if I wanted to have this done, I should go see him. There was another name of a person that she had heard good things about, but she didn't like his name (or alias if you will) that works downtown..Sorry about that Bear.
The shop was friendly, clean and the staff very helpful. He was surprised when I told him what size jewelry I wanted and told me I made the perfect pick. 10ga 5/8's dia... He advises people to avoid going with a smaller gage (i.e. 12 or 14ga) as there is more of a chance for it to grow out. They had a good selection of jewelry to choose from. Anything from 14ga all the way to 0 ga. He also asked me if I was thinking of stretching the piercing to a smaller gage later. I told him that I hadn't given it much thought. He said that proper positioning would avoid any problems later if I did decide to stretch it out. He prepped me by cleaning the area very well with an antiseptic soap, then marked the spot of where the piercing was going to be. He said proper placement is the key to a good PA. He told me that the first piercing had been done too low, so he moved the spot he was going to do to a spot he said would be much better. He inserted the receiving tube into my shaft. This was a bit uncomfortable, but by no means painful. He told me to lay back and take a deep breath. He told me to let it out quickly. By the time I had let my breath out, the piercing was done and there was no pain. WOW! The bleeding was minimal as well. He put the ring up against the end of the needle and with drew the needle, the ring following it through the new hole. No pain there either. Just a bit of discomfort again.
He wrapped a piece of gause around it and put the rubber glove over it to protect my clothing. He told me the best thing to aid the healing is to get Sea Salt and mix it 1tbs per 8oz water and to soak for 5 minutes 4 times a day to clean the piercing.
By the time I had gotten home (about 40 minutes later), the gause was feeling a bit cold. I unwrapped the rubber glove and saw that the gause had collected a bit of blood. The gause was stuck to the ring. To avoid any tearing, I mixed the Sea Salt and water and put my package into it. In less than 2 minutes, the gause came off the ring. The feel of the sea salt mixture was comforting. It actually felt good. It seemed to sooth the new piercing. I continued to soak for the full 5 minutes. After soaking, I opened a new package of gause and pat dried the piercing. I did notice that it was seeping blood more now, but kept the gause around it to avoid any messes. The blood continued to seep the rest of the day, but by the next morning's cleaning time, the blood had stopped. I continued to clean it 4 times a day for the first week and a half. Then I went to cleaning it morning and night.
It has been 4 weeks now and it has healed better than the first one I had gotten! Kudos to Atomic Piercers!
I have a 10ga stainless steel ring, which looks great. It has an oversized ball that sort of vibrates when I walk... An added side benifit if you ask me. My wife loves the look and feel of my new ring!
We had sex with it after the 2nd week. I used a condom to avoid any possibility of infection (as advised by the piercer!). She loves the added feeling the ring gives her.
Now it's time to get her pierced...maybe a hood ring or labia piercing..
Now where do I send in the pic's? LOL
