first, a little info about myself. i'm an 18 year-old male from mid-missouri and a full time student. i have always been interested in piercing but i never really considered getting one done. the only piercing i had before the prince albert was my left ear lobe that i got hen i was 12. my mom had to talk me into getting it done - how cool is that! of course, i would never tell her about the p.a.

i went home one weekend to visit friends when i suddenly got the idea to get the p.a. the first thing i did was log on to the internet to check it out. BME was a big help and thanks to everyone who submitted their experiences and pictures. the nearest studio to home was a place called U.S.A. (Unlimited Skin Art) in Washington, Missouri. i called ahead of time to see if they were busy. they told me that the piercer, Bubba, was working on a tattoo and that i should stop by in a couple hours. i was so anxious. i wanted to get it done as soon as possible because i was afraid that i would chicken out.

two hours passed and i went to U.S.A. with butterflies in my stomach. the studio looked like an old beauty salon and there were really cool pictures of tattoos all over the walls. the lady behind the counter asked if she could help me. i said that i had called earlier about getting a piercing. she asked me what i wanted and i said, "a prince albert". she didn't bat an eye and she hollered for Bubba. Bubba is an interesting fella. he looked kinda threatening - like the biker type with his black leather and full grey beard - but he was really nice and the way he talked about the procedure helped me relax. the lady behind the counter asked him if he told me about the bad part of the p.a. i was expecting something horrible but when he said that i would have to pee sitting down i told him that that wouldn't be a problem. if that was the one bad thing about it then it couldn't be that bad. i filled out the necessary forms and showed them my i.d. to prove i was of legal age.

once we were done with that he began to prep and get all the stuff ready. he took his time and i got to watch to make sure he didn't do anything unsanitary. we walked to the back and he closed the curtain behind him. he asked me to pull down my pants. actually, he said, "i can't very well do this through your pants, so you may want to pull those down." hehe. first, he took a cotton swab with some kind of anesthetic on it and he twisted it down in my urethra. there was a little discomfort but nothing that i couldn't handle. after he left that in for a couple of minutes he leaned the dentist-style chair back and pulled out the cotton swab. then he showed me the receiving tube. it looked huge. he proceded to put the tube down my urethra and whoa, what a feeling. i can't say that i hurt but i definately felt the pressure of the tube. at this point my little buddy was hiding like a scared turtle. i was slightly embarrassed at this but Bubba told me that after he had his frenum pierced he didn't get an erection for a week.

then, he preps me with some iodine looking stuff and grabs the needle. he tells me that he is using a 14 gague to start with. i asked him if we could use something bigger but he advised against it. i wasn't going to argue since he was the expert here. he told me to relax and take a deep breath, exhaling slowly. i did and when i exhaled he stuck me with the needle, starting at the bottom just to the left of my frenum and out my urethra. and here is what you really wanted to know: no, it didn't hurt. it was truly a unique feeling. i felt the needle but i only felt it going through. he put the cork on the sharp end and put the ring on the other end and pushed it through, twisted it together, and put on the bead. that was it! i was fascinated by my new ring. there was no blood and it loked great. Bubba put on the paper towel and a rubber glove and i was on my way. the whole thing cost me $80 american including a ten dollar tip.

that night i did something stupid though. when they tell you no alcohol, they mean it. i went to a party with some friends and had a few beers. i knew i shoudln't have but it was my friend's birthday and i didn't want to be a party-pooper. later that night i really had to piss but i was scared. my girlfriend told me that everything would be okay if i just did it and didn't think about it. when i finally got the guts to i went out in the woods and leaned up against a tree. i unzipped my pants and i was shocked at the amount of blood that had collected in the glove. i tried to ignore it and just let it go. i pissed blood and it wasn't too pleasant feeling.

i bled during the next two nights but after that i was fine. erections were a tad uncomfortable but i got over it. if you don't wear boxers you may want to consider switching for at least the first two weeks. after a week the pain was virtually gone and after two weeks i was totally alright. i can't wait to "try it out" as my friends put it but i will wait and stretch it out a bit before that. my girlfriend was really glat that i did it. she is kinda weird too - she has her tongue pierced and a couple of tattoos - so it's cool.

if you are considering getting a genital piercing go for the p.a. i am totally happy with mine. also, if you happen to be in Franklin County and you want to get another hole in your body go to U.S.A. Bubba is the coolest and he is very professional. that's all!
