I have had my hafada, or scrotal piercing, for a little over a year now. I live in florida and I love this piercing, It maybe purely the look of it but either way I don't think i will ever take it out. I belive that if you want a hole there its going to stay. I remember wanting several genital piercings since my teen years. I have of lately done several of them including the hafada, PA, and a frenum. Last year was my first chance to get one. It was winter and my good friend Jessica decided that it would be a good early christmas present to get me a new piercing, little did she know what she was getting into. I guess I never really had the nerve to go do it until then even though I wanted it badly. I called the shop that I attend and set up an appointment to get it all done. It would be the next morning. What I great thing I thought, then I woke up in the morning and it was around 40 degrees outside.
Needless to say I was a little worried about the entire part of my testicles being held up so far that the aftercare would be a mess but I decided to go ahead and go at it anyway, how many chances like this come along right? Well I picked up Jessica and we drove across town to La Modee where I was greeted and shown right in by my piercer Cynthia. She was happy to see me and a little shocked at what I wanted done but she liked the idea of doing it and was happy to do it for me. Jessica stayed in the waiting room while Cynthia and me went back into the doctor's office like room which I knew oh so well from past piercings.
We took our time, talked about the weather and families and such and then she explained the procedure and the aftercare briefly to me. Eventually we got to the part where I had to take off my pants. after I did I noticed that without pants on, and boxers too, it was quite cold in the room. The chair also felt like a padded block of ice. It was a little uncomfortable but no big deal.
Now she marked my testicles with the skin marker and lined up the forceps and clamped them. This ladies and gentlemen was the most painful part of the entire thing. Cold forceps pinching the skin in the middle of my testicles. She saw the discomfort in my eyes and told me to count down from ten. This is one of her tricks, she has you count down from a number, and your expecting that once you get down to one she will do it. Not Cynthia, she goes on a random number and totally catches you off guard.
I felt the needle go it, no pain. A strange tingling sensation but to pain. She took off the forceps (what a relief), then came the ten gauge captive ball ring. Everything was smooth as butter and clean as a whistle the entire time. I sat in the chair looking for a moment, invited Jessica to come look, and let Cynthia take a couple pictures for her scrap book. Now I can really say my nuts are in a book. Jessica thought it was very interesting and very nice to look at. Lets just say she got a feel for it after healing it up.
Eventually my pants went back on, I paid my dues, tipped my $20 to Cynthia for such a good job and left. I got home and put on some basket ball shorts and lounged around the house for the rest of the day. I did a sea salt soak that day after a hot shower to clean it and make sure it was ok. Little blood, it was a little sore around the holes, but it was more or less in fine condition. I took it for a little test drive that night, everything went well. the soreness was a little irritating but everything was in good order.
After everyday sea salt soaks and caring for it it healed and I decided to stretch it. From a ten gauge to an eight gauge. I lubed up the eight gauge taper, slid it in no problem and followed with another bigger, and heavier captive ball ring. I love the sensation on the extra weight on my testicles. I know it wasn't much but it made me aware that I had a sack in my pants. I mean, I always knew it was there but now i have more than skin there to tell me that. I am thinking about stretching it to a six gauge or even a four gauge soon. I could wear chunk rings and, oh god, would that feel great.
Within six months I gave Jessica the pleasure of getting her hood pierced as a present (original isn't it), and I got my PA done. They are both whole different stories though for another time. Just a note though, my PA is stretched to a six gauge now and the girl I am with now, LOVES it. I recommend either of these piercing, or any genital piercings to anyone who maybe interested in getting themselves modded for the better.
