It all started when I turned 18, I told myself and my friends "When I turn 18 I'm going to go get pierced and tatted up!!!" Yea right, because if you know me you know I dont like pain at all and I pass out at the mere sight of needles. Well needless to say, in December of 2005, I was up in Hammond, IN and since I was away from home I decided let me freak my mom out, and come home with a piercing. I decided I would get my eyebrow done, well let me tell you first off, it didn't go too well I blanked out for a minute but needless to say it was done. From that point on I was going out of my mind needing to go get something else pierced.

I bragged to all my friends how I was going to get my nipples pierced since nobody I knew had them done. So I decided that me and my best friends would go during our Spring Break. I had been reading up on stories and experiences with nipple piercings for the past few months to make sure I knew that was what I wanted and also to see if it hurt as much as everybody was making it seem. Finally the day came March 10th 2006, my best friend had came home for break from college, and I told my mom I had to go to lunch with some friends to catch up aka I wanted my nipples done but I didnt want her to know.
I went and picked up both of my best friends and we were all talking about how freaky I was because I wanted my nipples pierced and we talked about me and the possibility of me passing out. So we finally got to Artistic Skin Designs, which by the way is on 10th and Arlington so if you are in Indianapolis stop by I think by far they are the neatest and cleanest facility in Indianapolis, and believe me I've been to alot. Well we get there and we sit in the car while I brace myself for what I am about to do. We go in and I request BeeJay and he told me he would just be a minute, so we sat and looked at some books and my one best friend who was pregnant at the time said I better hope looking at him pierce my nipple doesn't make her go into labor, so we were laughing and finally he gets done with the girls in front of me. He get the papers for me and copies my ID and tells me to come in the room.
So there I am in the room, neat, very tidy, but there are skeletons all over the place. He washes his hands, gets out the materials and tells me to pull down my top and take off my bra. He then proceeds to dot where he thinks they should go and has me look in the mirror, I look and they are fine, so now I'm excited. I lay back and I have one best friend Kourtnee hold my left hand has he proceeds to put the clamp on my left nipple, it was a little uncomfortable, but I let it go. So finally he tells me to take breaths in as he counts to three and when he gets to three blow out as hard as I can and bam it was done. No pain at all, and I am not lying and this is coming from a complete whimp. Now on to the right nipple, I have my best friend Special hold my right hand, and he tells me to do the same thing, but that one hurt a little more, well it wasnt pain it was just weird. He then put the jewelry in and even though alot of people say that part hurt it didnt.
He cleaned me up and I put my bra and shirt back on and he rung me up, and I told him thank you and that I would be back, and he gave me another brief rundown of the aftercare instructions and me and my friends left. They ended up being more excited than me, but it was still a great experience with my girls that I love.
I find it funny because most people couldn't believe that I got my nipples done but yet two weeks later I was scared to go to the doctor for a shot, I never did go to that. Even after all that I wanted my tongue pierced but I was scared that it would "hurt", but I ended up going back to my favorite person BeeJay and he is the only one I will go to even though I now live in Ohio, and as a matter of fact I'm going home this weekend and Im getting my lip pierced. Overall I love my nipple piercings and Im thinking about getting them double pierced.
