Since I was 7 years old I would always bug my parents for piercings. Obviously it was out of the question and still is to this day. I have a strong attraction for piercings and I find them beautiful in every way, so my parents disagreeing with them has not stopped me in the Past.

Devin my best friend is quite good with piercings and he does the majority of them around school for people. So on a Monday...I said "hey...lets pierce them today!!" and it was on.
We headed over to our local body jewelry place silver depot and selected a to 14g straight barbells and two hollow needles. We got back in the car and started going to our friend Rachel's to do it. When we got there I fiddled around while Devin was getting his area all situated. He called me in and I lay down on the couch with my shirt off. He cleaned the area quite well and numbed them with ice. We put on some Norma Jean to get the mood going and he told me to take a deep breath and when I exhaled, he was going to put the needle through. It was done on my left nipple before I knew it. The pain wasn't unbearable but it wasn't comfortable at all. Just like with all piercings I've had...it's just that annoying sensation. It bled slightly but wow it looked good. I took a few minutes to re catch my breath while Devin was asking me if I was ok. The people in the room were looking slightly faint but they all started complimenting me. After a few more minutes of adjusting the bar bell and getting everything situation we started straight on my right nipple.
We followed on the same procedure and when I exhaled he started pushing the needle through. We had a slight bit of complications because it did not want to go through at all. My good friend Kiri was holding my hand and I was gritting my teeth. It was definitely hurting and after a final shove and a loud pop we were through. This one did not bleed at all. But it hurt pretty badly. I was a little shaky and not happy about it at all. When I looked down at it...the pain seemed somewhat to intensify but nothing to extreme.
Afterwards we cleaned the area again with mild bactine soap and just let them alone. They were very tender in the shower that night. The cold air and the fresh holes were not mixing well together. Bumping them even with a towel was uncomfortable. They remain harder much longer now but in the end...it will be worth it. After I finally got dried off and checked the areas one more time I put a bra on and went to bed. I learned that a bra keeps them in place better for the first few days and actually feels much better as opposed to them getting bumped and agitated. The next few days I healed faster and faster and the tenderness went away. The first day at school with everyone hugging me was not fun though. Now its been a little over a week, I clean them every morning and night with bactine soap then I put lavender oil on them to keep them from being dried out. I recommend that you keep your hands away from playing with them except for when you are cleaning because there is a possibly they can get infected and they get agitated. Mine get real agitated if I keep messing with the barbells. But the pain is no longer there and they are just beautiful.
These are also very cool because when people have been playing with them gently it is very arousing. Also.... these are unseen to parents, except for when I'm extra cold and I am wearing a thin bra. That's not always the best. People will be jerks and try and punch them because they think its funny. Assure them that its not and that it hurts. The next day did hurt quite badly. I kept running to the bathroom and checking them to make sure nothing was happening. I also recommend that you do not do any really physical activity for the first few days. There is a chance of infection from the sweat. So if your in PE, get a note from a friends parent like I did. Throughout the day, go to the bathroom and just clean them with some water if it's all you have. But keep rubbing alcohol away from them. It can dry the area out not to mention it stings.
But All in all they are amazing piercings and the few seconds of pain is worth the after effects. If you are considering this piercing...Go for it, they are worth it!!
