After my recent Prince Albert piercing, I was itching to get another piercing done. It was going to be a piercing for my scrotum or getting both nipples done.

I booked an appointment with Claire at Flux, who had already done my PA for me, and made a date for Friday 28 October 2005 (which gave me the weekend to get used to the new piercings).
I turned up at the studio, and signed the paperwork saying I wasn't on drugs etc., and then Claire ran through the jewellery options with me.
I'd already decided beforehand that I wanted ball closure rings, as I've always liked the look of them (as well as being quite easy to clean during the aftercare).
I chose 2 larger size gold titanium bcr's, and went through to the piercing room.
After having the PA done already, I wasn't nervous this time, just a little apprehensive about the 'pain' that many people mention with nipple piercings.
Luckily Claire's got a great personality (which helps to take your mind off the piercing), and while I took my shirt off, Claire ran through the procedure with me.
First, Claire swabbed both nipples, then measured and marked the piercing locations. I then got to look at the locations in the mirror, just to make sure I was happy with where they were going.
While Claire donned fresh gloves, I lay back on the piercing couch and waited. Claire asked if I had any preference for which nipple should be pierced first, but I let her choose.
First up was the left nipple, which first had to be clamped – which wasn't as uncomfortable as I thought it would be. Then came the piercing itself – as with the PA, Claire told me to take a deep breath when I was ready, and then slowly release.
I'm not sure how the breathing pattern works, but it certainly does the job. Just a small piercing sensation, and the needle was through. Claire then put the ring through, explaining that it might feel a bit odd, but there certainly wasn't any unbearable pain at all. The ball was added to the ring, and the first piercing was done.
Claire then let me have a few minutes before the next piercing, and checked I was feeling alright. We just chatted about general stuff, and what other piercings I'd be able to go for in future.
She then put on a fresh pair of gloves, and carried the piercing equipment over to the right hand side of the couch.
Same procedure as before, nipple clamped, deep breath and it was over before I'd realised (as with my 2 other piercings).
I'd read that some people find these piercings very painful, but I didn't experience any real pain at all – the piercing's over so quickly that you probably don't have time to realise it's been done.
Claire told me to stay on the couch for a few more minutes, just to make sure I was okay, and then I got my first proper look at the piercings in the mirror. They looked brilliant, both dead straight and hanging nicely.
The aftercare was then run through, and Claire gave me another supply of sea salt and medicated soap. Although there was no bleeding, Claire also covered both nipples with gauze dressings, and explained that this would help ensure I didn't catch them for the rest of the day. The dressings could come off the following morning, when I could start the aftercare.
I then put my shirt back on, and Claire kindly ran through the jewellery they stocked, so that when healed I could choose different jewellery for different occasions. As before, I was impressed with both the knowledge and aftercare that Flux provide for their customers.
I never realised so much jewellery was available, so I'm looking forward to when they're healed so I can build up a collection.
For the first couple of hours after the piercing, both nipples felt like they were still clamped – probably the best way to describe the sensation. It wasn't painful, just a dull ache which soon disappeared.
I've got to wait a while for my next piercing(s) now, as Claire explained that the 3 I've got should heal fully before I start on anything else. I'm just looking forward to December now, so I can get the PA stretched and get another piercing done.
After starting out as a complete novice (never even having an ear pierced), I'm now addicted and can't wait for the next piece of body jewellery.
If anyone else is just starting out, I hope you're as lucky as me to find a piercer like Claire, and if you're ever in Worthing, make sure to check out Flux. http://www.fluxpiercing.co.uk/
