I decided to get my nipples pierced a while ago. There was a small problem. I wasn't 18. I already have a few piercings (6 in each ear with current stretching happening, both traguses, and my left nostril). My parents were okay with my other piercings but I'm not sure how they would feel about my nipples (they don't know yet). So my nipples were an 18th birthday present to myself because I was excited about being able to do something without my parents permission.

I chose a studio (Artistic Creations in Middletown, NY). I had been here for all of my other piercings, so I felt comfortable allowing her to pierce my tah tahs.
I went into the lobby of the studio, Peter in tow, and told Vanessa (my piercer) that I wanted to get my nipples pierced. I will admit that I was actually very nervous and had thought of every possible reason to be rejected for my nipple piercings. I had to fill out the usual front and back form explaining that I had no illegal drugs or alcohol in my system and that I had eaten. And I'm sure they also use it for legal purposes so that I won't sue their asses if my tit falls off!
I had been wanting barbells, and everyone else had also advised me that they would look the best. But then I was informed otherwise. Vanessa said that I didn't want anything getting caught on the balls at the end of the barbells until I enjoyed people pulling on them! She was funny! So I stuck with the 12G captive bead rings.
I went into the piercing room and she told me to "stand up and bare 'em", so I did. With me humor always makes the situation more comfortable and it made me a lot less nervous because she was joking around! She marked each nipple with entry and exit points while I was standing up. Then I sat down in the dentist like chair, which kinda freaks me out but I guess it is a good thing that it reminds me of a sterile place. She got all of her needles and necessities in order and asked if I was ready. Um, was I ready for someone to put holes through my nipples? No, but hey, why the hell not?!
So I leaned back in the chair and Vanessa put some bio freeze on my nipples to take the edge off and probably to make them hard so that she could more easily see where she needed to pierce. I swear my nipples had never been that hard in my life! She then put these clamps on the first nipple (the left) and I think this part was more uncomfortable than the actual piercing itself. I mean normally, maybe that would have been kinky, but not when you knwo what is coming! She pushed that needle through, followed by the jewelry, and then put the ball in the ring. Now it was onto the right. The same procedure happened with this tah tah but it hurt a little more. She said that it was probably because I knew what was coming and tensed up a little bit. Whatever the reason, it was still at most only a 5 on the pain factor scale. People who say nipple piercings are extremely painful must have a really low pain tolerance because I would equate it with an ear lobe piercing.
So now I had my nipples pierced and I was SO happy! Vanessa asked me if I wanted to look at my little Christmas presents (well not so little for those who know me and "them") before she wrapped them up. And I did, and was all smiles! And then she started singing some song about having silver balls on my knockers for Christmas.
I went out into the lobby again and paid her and tipped her for taking such good care of my boobies and went on my merry way.
I haven't really had too much pain, mostly just discomfort. One thing that is true about having your nipples pierced is that even though they are still healing they are already more sensitive than they were before being pierced. And they are permanently hard to some degree. When I wear a tight shirt or like a beater (or a guinny tee as Vanessa would call it) it looks like I have four nipples. Taht is actually how one of my friends figured out that I have my nipples pierced! But he is just a freak and notices what gauge my ears are currently at. Anyway! I definitely recommend nipple piercings to anyone!
