As many stories on here that I have read telling you "Go to a professional" "This is my horror story", I was a dumb ass and went for the cheap deal. This guy, who will remain nameless because I see him as Dirt in my book, owns a Body Shop, for cars, and also Tattoos? I should have seen something there. I have read so many horror stories and thought to myself "That will never be me. I have more common sense than that." Obviously not. Life hands you these little life lessons and you just have to take every lesson with a grain of salt. This is my lesson on nipple peircings'.
At A Glance Author Ariana Contact Aspnck@aol.com When A month ago Artist Some Fucknut Studio His fucking tattoo/bodyshop garage. Im an idiot Location Smyrna, Delaware My best friend and I decided we wanted our nipples pierced. We're both 18 so it was not one of those, "Let's get someone to pierce us even though we're 17" situations. This guy that Jen, my friend, knew, and owned a tattoo shop said he also did piercings'' as well. Jen explained that we were both on the tight end for money, me being in college, she paying house bills for her mom. The guy decided to do both nipples for 50 dollars for the both of us. To me that sounded like a lot of money, but not outrageous. So Jen and I decided to go through with it. What a mistake.
So we arrive at this guys "shop". We go in, there's a chair and what not. The instruments were all in sterile packages, he wore gloves, acted very professional. Well fuck me for sitting in that chair. Not only were Jen and mine piercings' crooked, they were also placed too far forward. I went through the most excruciating pain as he pierced my nipple almost through the center and out the side. I was like, "What were the marks on my nipples for?" "For a center line." What the fuck kind of response was that. Jen watched me get the second nipple done, which did not hurt nearly as much as the first and sat down to get hers. I have never heard such a painful screech as I heard come out of her. I felt so bad hearing it, but then again, she did not have a ring through the center of her nipple either.
So I get home to college, and I go see my piercer who had done my tongue piercing. The piercer I'm talking about is Michael and he works at Trilogy Body Piercing and Tattoos in Memphis, Tn. He is an awesome guy and a great artist. I lifted my shirt and said "Can you fix it?" "Yes." I decided to ask him his advice because even though the holes were healing, I was concerned about their placement. I have read stories about piercings' not placed deep enough and seen pictures of rejected piercings'. I was not looking for rejected nipples. That was the best thing I had heard all week long. So I took out the piercings', luckily they healed with no scars, I had taken them out within the week I had them done, and I will be getting them redone once I get my paycheck. I can't wait to get them re-pierced. Nothing will ever hurt as bad as my right nipple did. Jen on the other hand, had relatively straight piercings', but hated how they looked and felt. She also decided with her boyfriend that she did not like them, and soon thereafter took hers out for good.
I just wanted to write this to let people know, pay the extra money and get the piercing done right and professionally. I don't know how many of these experiences I have read, but I obviously did not listen. I got beat in the head for 50 dollars, that I did not have to spare, and got fucked up piercings'. This experience, however, has not turned me away from getting my tattoos or further peircings' obviously. I cannot wait to get the twins re-done. I also plan on more piercings', possibly a cleavage. And I cannot wait to get my tattoo in December. But, whatever you want to do with your body, make sure who ever is doing it, respects your body. Don't subject your body to a jack ass like I did. Make sure the shop is clean, sterile, and the people there are professional too. I was so paranoid about infections or possible abscesses and then I go and let that guy pierce me because I was in a frugal mood. It was one of my most painful mistakes I have ever made. But now I know, no matter how simple you think the procedure, or how clean the shop "looks", how clean you make yourself think it is, make sure it's a REAL shop and REAL professionals. Thanks for reading; I hope I spread a little wisdom.
