Well what can I tell you? This story goes back six years. It was then that I gave birth to my baby girl (not a baby now!). I decided to breast feed and received loads of help and advice but no horror stories. The thing is my little darling nearly removed my left nipple for me! I had a huge crack across the top of my nipple which caused it to hang in a very unsightly fashion.

I have a severe reduction in the sensitivity of my left nipple and it never got as hard as the right one. I have a large bust with big areolas so this was very noticeable (to me anyway).
So skip forward a few years and here I am. I have had a few piercings done mainly on my face and had toyed with the idea of having my nipples done.
The thing is because of previous damage my nipples had gone through I was very nervous. The other thing that has really bothered me is I scar badly, I think this is due to the fact that I am half cast and the melanin in my skin always leaves me with a scar and it takes me a long time to heal .
Well all I can say is what a good piercer I have been going to. Right from my first piercing she has made me feel relaxed and explains everything to me.
I am also very comfortable with her hygiene and standards.
The place you go to get pierced should have all there health and safety certificates on display and should gladly show you their equipment and how it is used and where all the used equipment is discarded. Go in and talk to them a few times if they make you feel uncomfortable then don't get anything done there. Remember you are going to let them place a sharp metal object in you so you should trust them.
So back to the story. Well I had been in to talk to Maxine several times regarding getting my nipple done. She has always been honest with me and told me the risks every time I have hade something done and told me in detail what she would do. She never made me feel like I was wasting her time or generally being a nuisance.
So the day came when I finally decided to go for it. Me being me I decided that I
should have both nipples done so not to look unbalanced. Also I thought it might double the pleasure.
I decided to have a bar horizontally on both.
Sitting in the chair while having my nipples tweaked I did wonder what the hell I was doing! But the dots were drawn and examined to check they were straight and my Friend Jeanette who was in the room agreed that they looked in line. Never take a friend if you are shy they only make you laugh!
So the moment of truth came. Maxine had explained to me that white women with brown nipples maybe due to sunbathing have tougher skin and it can be a little more painful to pierce. Well I am not black not white but a mixture and I have brown nipples so I was unsure what it was going to feel like. From the other things Maxine had pierced she thought my skin was quite giving and butter like so I was just hoping that my nipples were the same.
I decided to have the left one done first. That way if it really hurt I could wimp out on having the other one done! Yes I know I am a chicken I don't care!
So there I was with the clamp in place sat nervously waiting for the needle to go in with my friend laughing at my face. You know what it didn't hurt and it slid straight through. I was amazed it just felt like a little pressure but no great force was required.
I felt a lot calmer when the first one was done and although it bled a little it felt great and looked good to. So now came the turn of the right nipple. Well now I was a seasoned pro, I had no worries at all. Wrong, the thing was I can't really feel my left nipple so of course it didn't hurt. The right one wasn't too bad. When the needle entered it was fine it was the exit that caused a bit of trouble. For some reason that tiny patch of skin was a little unyielding and decided that it didn't want a hole in it. Well it didn't have much choice and with a little effort it was done but I must admit it did cause a bit of pain. The right one was also sore as the bar was placed in and bled quite a bit.
Well after having my huge plasters put on (the most embarrassing bit) I left the shop a happy girl.
The next few days my nipples were a little sensitive if caught but not at all sore. They didn't swell and I had no bruising what so ever. They healed so quickly as well and not a hint of a scar at all.
The end result of this tale is I am so happy that I had them done. My left nipple can now tell when it's being played with and the right one well it's in heaven. I love the look of them as well I was never very keen on my breasts as I thought the areola part of them was too big. Now they have a decoration and look so much better. I am going to have a vertical bar put in them both next can't wait.
