When I woke up yesterday morning, if someone would of told me I was going to get my nipples pierced, I would of told them they were nuts. Piercing my nipples was not something I had ever planned on doing. I've never done something that bold, and impulsive in my life. I just never thought I would ever do something like that. I've always found them interesting and erotic, but I wasn't sure that my pain threshold was high enough that I could tolerate something like that. I also wasn't sure if I wanted to have my nipples pierced. I have a family history of breast cancer, and I've already had to have a tumor removed, so because of that I have little or no sensitivity in my nipples. I rarely even want anyone touching my nipples because it just wasn't an erogenous zone for me. That's all changed.

Friday night I was going with another friend because she was getting her first tattoo and was extremely nervous. Since I already had two tattoo's and my tongue pierced she wanted me to go with her to reassure her. Also since the guy who was doing the tattoo's was the same guy who had done mine previously she felt more comfortable by me going.
She was filling out her paperwork, and I had was craving having something done. It had been 5 years since I had my tattoo's. So after thinking about what I could have done, and completely on an impulse I decided to get my nipples pierced. I filled out my paperwork, and my hands starting shaking bad. I wasn't this nervous when I got my tongue pierced. I decided it was now or never. I had to do it now, while I still had the nerves. I waited while my friend got her tattoo, and couldn't believe I was actually going to do this.
All the girls who were getting things done went back with me. I took off my top and before I knew it the piercing was over. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It felt like a really sharp pinch with a rush of throbbing. Wayne used a spray on anesthetic to numb the nipple. The anesthetic basically froze the tissue of the nipple. It hurt worse then the actually piercing. Wayne was really awesome, about the whole thing. He explained every step of the way of it with me. Explained all of the aftercare step by step to make sure my piercing heals correctly. He is a huge aftercare specialist. It's the most important thing with any body modification.
Afterwards, something that had never happened to me before happened. I started sweating and shaking. Wayne said it was from all the endorphins. Even when I got my tattoo's, I never got that kind of endorphin rush. My head was spinning and my heart felt like it was going to come out of my chest. It was the most awesome feeling. I had to sit there for a few minutes to collect my thoughts and calm myself down. I drank some water, and it passed. I still for the rest of the night felt like I was on a high of some sort. I was tingly and fuzzy feeling all over. It was great.
Before Wayne did the piercing, he looked at my nipples to determine what size barbell to use. I had commented on how my nipples are rarely ever erect unless I'm extremely excited, or cold. After Wayne did the piercing, I looked at my new nipples. I couldn't believe they looked so awesome.
The worse part about it all was that I was wearing overalls. So every time I moved or walked, my overalls brushed up against my nipples. They are so sensitive now, I can feel the wind blow. We all went to Wal-Mart afterwards to get some antiseptic soaps, and Bactine. There were three of us, two of us got our nipples pierced and one got a tattoo. I'm sure the checker at Wal-Mart was more than confused. With all the antiseptic things we bought, I'm sure she was wondering what we were up to.
I still can't believe that they are mine. I thought sleeping was going to be hard since I sleep on my stomach, but it actually felt okay. The pressure on nipples helped. My nipples are sore today, and I have a little bit of bruising but overall it wasn't bad. I probably won't be hugging anyone anytime soon. I can't wait until they heal. I still can't believe I did it. It was a great experience.
Now I just have to decide what I'm going to do next. Because like everyone says, this stuff is addicting.
