I had my left nipple pierced almost 2 years ago and at that time I decided I would get one done and see how the healing went. After I got home and for the next week I was determined to get the right nipple done because it just didn't look right. I thought I would just want the one, but once you look in the mirror and imagine the other nipple with a ring or barbell through it, it is very tempting to have them both done. Well, the healing didn't go over especially well and almost 2 years later it still isn't completely healed. I had the first one done by Amy at the Crypt but I admit I didn't take the best care of it, but I plan on taking much better care of my new piercing. My friend Matt was coming in from Saskatoon and it was a good opportunity for me to get my right nipple done.

After a long day we settled down around 11:00pm he got everything set up in my bedroom and he changed the jewelry in my left nipple to a better quality CBR and so it would match what he was putting into my right nipple. Just a note that I looked at his portfolio and he has lots of experience, everything was new/sterile and it packages, he changed his gloves many times, this was not done by some inexperienced person, everything was new and professional.
I took my shirt off and he did the markings on my nipple and I checked them. He ended up re-marking them before we did the piercing. At some point I believe he cleaned the area with an iodine pad. He had given me the aftercare paper in advance and after trying to relax for a bit he put the clamps on me. After giggling and trying to prepare, I made him take the clamps off because I wasn't ready. He put them back on and they were quite uncomfortable, I wasn't ready so I had him take them off again. I'm a strange one at times but I was ready now so he put them back on. By this time the clamps were even more uncomfortable, but a pain similar to a bruise that you press and sort of enjoy the pain that comes along with it.
I said I was ready and he could start the counting. I shut my eyes and tried to stay still. Breath in, 1, breath out, 2, breath in, 3, breath out, 4 and he pierced the nipple on four. I clenched my jaw and believe I said something along the lines of "Fuck" as the needle went through the other side. I tried to keep breathing in and out as he put in the jewelry. He secured the bead onto the ring and that was that. The pain from a nipple piercing isn't a negative one, at least in my experience, but more of a pleasant and enjoyable one. It gives quite the rush.
There was quite a bit of blood at this point as he prefers to pierce with a 12g needle and use 14g jewelry, or pierce at a gauge larger than the jewelry. We cleaned it off and he took a couple pictures for his portfolio. The bleeding stopped and I was a happy lady with a sore boob.
That night it ended up bleeding again, but with a little pressure and gauze it stopped. This afternoon I did a sea salt soak and it bled a little more, nothing to worry about. I am so happy that I got it done and a pair of pierced nipples is priceless. I love my nipple piercings more than any of my piercings. Matthew did a very good job and I'm looking forward to taking good care of my new piercing and hopefully having it heal better and faster than the left nipple.
I think the next piercing I am going to get will be either a vertical or horizontal hood, which I will get Matt to do. He was very professional and relaxing. I would recommend nipple piercings to anyone, they are very flattering to any size breast and very sexy. I would like to stretch my nipple piercings to 10g in the future, given they heal well and don't migrate.
I am planning on doing sea salt soaks twice a day and as always keeping my clothes and bedding clean. Washing nipple piercings in the shower is usually quite easy and they are well worth the potential pain and effort required in healing them. If anyone has any questions you are welcome to e-mail me.
