The age of 18 brought a lot of new found freedom for me. What made me most excited about turning 18 was that I could finally get all of the piercings and tattoos that I had waited so long to get. I got my navel pierced when I was 14, but that wasn't enough! My first tattoo came at 17 as a birthday present from my mother. When my 18th birthday finally came, against my grandfather's wishes, I got my right nostril pierced while I was on vacation in Florida with my best friend. I had waited so long to get it and after a month I found a new job that would not let me keep it in. I needed to do something else to fulfill my urge, so I went ahead and got my tongue pierced. Not too long after that, I got my second tattoo. But something else was lurking in me, something that I had pondered doing for a long time. So yesterday, at my favorite tattoo and piercing studio, I grew balls and decided to go ahead and get my nipples done.

I first went in to ask about pricing. My funds are quite limited right now with college, and I didn't have the money with me to do it. After talking to a friend who was getting a tattoo at the time, I decided that I was going to go home and get the money. The shop is about 10 minutes from my house so I thought she would be there when I went back to hold my hand through it. After driving quickly back to my house to get the money, I decided to jump on the highway to go back, thinking it would be quicker. Not true when you miss the exit! By the time I got there, my friend was gone and I had to go through the ordeal all alone.

The piercer brought me back to the room and closed the curtains. He told me that it would be a lot easier to just take off my shirt and bra. I figured that because it was his job that it was not a big deal for him to see a pair of tits, so I wasn't too uncomfortable. He put this cold orange jelly-like stuff on my nipples and marked where he was going to pierce them. he then asked if I was ready, and I said yes. He put the clamp on my right nipple and it wasn't too painful. He then instructed me to breathe in and breathe out twice. When I released my second breath, he pushed the needle through. it felt like someone had just pinched my nipple really hard, but it wasn't too bad. When he put the jewelry through, it stung a little but it was nothing unbearable. He then went to do the second one, and went through the same procedure. He went to push the needle through and I screamed out, "Holy fucking SHIT that hurt," and it hurt even more when he put the jewelry through . he was then finished, and I stood up to look at my nipples. In my mind all I could think of was, "Wow, my boobs look really good with these," and I then grabbed my shirt and bra to put it on because I felt weird standing there topless, looking at my breasts. The piercer told me to wash them twice a day with anti-bacterial soap, turn them to remove any build up on the outsides or the piercing, and to come back if I had any problems. I paid and tipped him and left the store, completely satisfied and very jittery.

I came home and saw that my left nipple was bleeding a little, so I looked on this site to see what I could do to help myself. I stole the idea of using a panty-liner inside of my bra which was very helpful. Many of my male friends are asking me incessantly to show them, and even a few of my female friends wanted a peek as well. My grandmother and mother think that I am crazy, but laughed at me. I slept fine, but they are a little sore today. It stung a lot when I cleaned them this morning but that went away in about 5 minutes. My breasts are a little large, so I'm sure they will be a little more irritated than with those of smaller chested girls. I'm very satisfied and happy with the job my piercer did, and I can't wait to see how they feel when they are healed up.

Girls or guys, if you're thinking about getting your nipples pierced, go for it. Make sure you choose a piercer that you are comfortable with, and be gentle afterwards.
