Well, where to start? I have several other piercings and was looking to get a few more done. I decided against anymore facial piercings and wanted something a little more "sensual".

After looking around BME some more, I narrowed my choices down to two, a Christina or my Nipples. As I am a fairly active person and wasn't quite sure if a Christina would suit my lifestyle (healing wise).

So I had made my decision, I was going to get my Nipples pierced. Now all I had to do was decide if I were going to get vertical or horizontal nipple piercings, if I were going to get them done at the same time and what type of jewellery I would like.

well, I went ahead and made the appointment for the next day. (I would like to add that a lot of thought went into deciding whether or not I really wanted to get my nipples pierced) I have been very happy with all the work Jeanette had done on me so far, so naturally, I went back to see her.

Sure enough, the next day arrived and off I hopped to see Jeanette. Once again I was made to feel very welcomed when I walked in. I'm also one of Jeanette's most frequent visitors as the bod mod community isn't all that big in Tasmania. (I also get discounts, which I usually make up for in tips!)

Now, down to business. I knew what I wanted done, but still I couldn't decide on jewellery. I've read alot of QOD's and experiences on BME regarding nipple piercings, and found that some people have trouble with CBR's migrating/rejecting so they feel that barbells are better for them. So I decided to try it out. I was going to have one nipple with a 12g SSS CBR and the other nipple with a 12g SSS Barbell.

We walked around to the piercing area and now I was nervous, you know, the whole sweaty palms thing.

I was asked to remove my top (and thinking smart, I wore a boob tube, it made life much easier) and Jeanette proceeded to mark the entry and exit holes. When we were both happy with the placement, I was asked to lay down on the doctor type bed/table.

And what came next, is really hard to describe. The feeling of the clamp(?) was kind of a pinch as you could probably guess, and I knew that when that clamp came out, the needle was soon to follow.

Having a huge fear of needles (as odd as that may seem) I was beginning to feel really nervous. I scruffed hold of either side of the bed and held for dear life as the 12g needle pierced my right nipple. It was an odd feeling. Yes, it hurt, but it was a good pain. The best I could describe it would be a tingling/burning/pinching/sensual sensation. After the initial "ouch" there was an overwhelming sensation of pleasure that was just swept throughout my body. I loved it, it was the most awesome experience. And here I was, about to go through it all again. I couldn't wait!

But right now, I had my right nipple pierced with a 12g SSS CBR.

Once again, I was filled with nervousness with a hint of excitement this time as I knew what awaited me.

For the second time that morning I was overwhelmed with an almost indescribable feeling of pleasure. As well as a new 12g SSS Barbell in my left nipple.

As I am familiar with the aftercare routine we skipped that part, I thanked Jeanette, paid and left a generous tip then I was on my way home.

I felt alot of discomfort shortly after I left the studio. Mainly from the materials from my top and bra rubbing against the fresh nipple piercings, even though I had a gauze pad over them.

When I got home half an hour later I took the gauze pads off to look/clean my new piercings. My right nipple had instantly bruised to a deep blue/purple colour yet no bruising at all on my left nipple. I wasn't worried at all, afterall, I just had a needle shoved through the second most sensitive part of my body!

For the next few days I experienced alot more pain in my right nipple compared to my left nipple. After the second day I felt no pain in my left nipple but continued to have pain with my right nipple for the next two weeks. I don't know if it had anything to do with the difference in jewellery or the fact that I had both nipples pierced at the same time or it could have been just me.

My nipples continued to heal nicely with twice day cleaning with 1/4 teaspoon of Sea Salt to 8ounces of warm Water. I am always continuous when it comes to aftercare. What's the point in having a piercing, if you're not going to take care of it properly.

Anyway, nearly a year later after all that. I had to retire my right nipple piercing (12g SSS CBR) due to severe migration. Yet I still have a very happy 12g SSS Barbell in my left nipple. I'm going to get my right nipple done again one day, after it has healed completely.

To any of you reading this. I have a few words of advice:

Always research the piercing you want to have done.

Weigh up all the Pro's and Con's of the piercing.

Think carefully of your lifestyle/living arrangements (family etc...)

Make sure you are ready for a commitment that may last a lifetime.

Aftercare is very important. Make sure you use the right products that are right for you, and that are not damaging to the piercing and healing itself.

Last, but not least, enjoy your piercing, have fun with it, but remember to be gentle.
