I found myself falling into the group of people that always says "I'd love to get my nipples pierced", but always punked out on doing it. I tossed the idea around in my head for almost 2 years before actually going through with the whole thing.

(Such a good influence, aren't I?) Anyway, one night we were hanging out with my ex-boyfriend who happens to own 2 tattoo shops (one of which has a piercing studio in it as well) at a bar. He was telling me how a girl came in a few days earlier and they wanted her to pierce her nipples, but she didn't have enough money to do it. Being the horndog that he is, my ex offered to let her have it free, if she'd get it done. Without much thought I said, "Dammit..why don't you offer ME that deal?" So he said that he would pierce Jamie and I for free if we came down when they weren't busy.
Jamie and I discussed it for a few days and we decided to do it... So on that Friday, we packed up a troop of friends and headed down to the shop. When we got there, no one was there. So Jamie filled out her paper work (I had been pierced there many times, so they don't even bother making me fill out the shit anymore) and we started to discuss who would go first. I was the one jumping around saying how scared I was and that I knew it would hurt, etc. etc. So my ex nominated me to go first...saying that because I was making such a big deal about it, it would be best for me to get it over with first. I gave him a nervous smile and said, "Damn you...."
So it was time. We marched back to the room...it was Jamie, my other friend Christina, and me. We had tried to talk Christina into getting it done too, and she said she might do it after she sees what it's like. (The girl is covered in tattoos...I thought she'd be the bravest about getting the nips poked.) So I sat down on the chair and my piercer Joey (THE BEST!!!) told me to take my shirt and bra off... I started laughing nervously because I had an audience and was quite shy about flopping out the 'ol titties. To make it even worse, Joey found it amusing to start singing porno music as I removed my top. I guess that helped relax me though..a good laugh always takes my mind off pain.
He did all his markings and explained exactly what I was in for. When I laid back in the chair, I started getting antsy. I figured it would feel like someone pinching my nipples, but boy was I wrong. ha ha
I grabbed a hold of Jamie's hand and looked her in the eye and asked, "What the hell am I doing?" I was scared shitless. So on go the clamps (he did my left one first)..bearable..then comes the 3 deep breaths, and on the second one I GOT RAMMED!!! I've never squinted my eyes that hard in my life! Quickly, he clamped my right nipple and bam! hit me again. THE SECOND ONE HURTS A LOOOOOOOOOOOT MORE!!! It seemed like it took longer for him to push the second one through. By the time he was on my second nipple, Christina was out of the room...she couldn't watch. I was extremely glad it was over and excited that I actually went through it...FINALLY! It definitely didn't feel like getting your nipple pinched. It felt like a sting of heat...like most piercings do...but I could feel it through my entire chest.
Then it was Jamie's turn. I gave her my hand for retaliation..and she pretty much had the same reactions as me-the quick suck in of air and the squinting with a nice "phew" to end the procedure. Afterwards, we ran out into the lobby and started flashing away. So proud of our new accessories. When we were done, Joey put some gauze over the piercings and taped them down because we were on our way to a club and didn't want anyone bumping our sore little boobs.
Needless to say we got pissy drunk that night...and it really helps forget the pain!
The next day they were doing the typical bleeding. I wore a sports bra for the first week so they wouldn't accidentally get tugged or anything. They dully ached for about 3 days, but it wasn't unbearable. One thing that did suck was having crusties RAKED through the tender nipples when cleaning. OW. We got teased because our nipples were very visible for the time when we couldn't wear regular bras and of course everyone wants to see. My mom even got a glimpse..and she was repulsed! haha
If something ever happens that I have to take out my nipple rings, I honestly don't think I'd be able to get them done again..but I absolutely love having them! And it's true...once you get them pierced, you can't wait to show EVERYBODY!
