I finally decided I was going to get that nipple piercing that I had been wanting for so long. I had been browsing through the stories and photos on the BME pages and became inspired. I decided not to wait any longer.
At A Glance Author SEXYME When A month ago Artist MYSELF Studio MY BATHROOM I had pierced my own ears five years ago. I did this at work while waiting for my husband to pick me up. I was alone in the office and bored and had been wanting a second set of holes in my earlobes, so I cleaned my ears and earrings with alcohol from the first aid office and proceeded to try to pierce my ears myself.
The posts on the earrings were very small and kind of pointed on the end so they worked pretty well. I decided to see how much pain I could take before backing out and I felt a little pop as I was pushing on the earring and was surprised that it had gone halfway through my earlobe. It hadn't hurt much so I pushed a little more and the earring went the rest of the way through and I felt a rush of excitement. I did the other earlobe but had to stop halfway through and start over because it was crooked. I finished and peeked at them in my makeup mirror. My earlobes were a little red but the piercings looked great and my husband was very suprised when he picked me up a little while later.
I had toyed with the ideal of doing my own nipple before but there is a little more at stake in that area than in the lobe department. But reading some of the at home piercing stories on BME gave me courage and I decided to give it a try.
I work for a veterinarian now, so getting a sterile needle wasn't a problem. I came home prepared one evening and browsed the BME pages for a while before deciding to give it a go.
I washed my left nipple first and then cleaned it with alcohol. I had bought a pretty 14 gauge ring with a silver ball in the center a few months before and had it soaking in alcohol. I couldn't wait to put it in!!!!
Everything was ready.... I popped the little plastic end off the needle and took a few deep breaths to calm my nerves. I held the needle horizontally beside my nipple and lined it up where I wanted it. I pinched my nipple outward by grasping my breast behind the nipple and putting pressure in and pulling outward at the same time.
I pressed the tip of the needle against my nipple, took a deep breath and gave a firm push. I could feel the coldness of the needle as it went through. I felt a little nauseous at this point, this was a little more serious than piercing my ear.
It looked rather interesting to see my nipple impaled by a syringe needle but I was eager to get this done with so I took my pretty new jewelry and laid it on a paper towel to dry. I sure didn't want to try putting it in with it still damp with the alcohol!!
Once the ring was dry I picked it up and proceeded to replace the needle with it. This was a little more difficult than I had anticipated. If I do my other one in the future, I will defintely invest in some clamps!
I finally got the ring in and it looked lovely. I couldn't wait for my husband to get home so I could show it to him. He had teasingly mentioned my getting my nipples pierced in the past so I knew his response would be favorable.
I was rather tired once it was done and over so I grabbed a cool drink and surfed the BME pages while I waited for my husband to get home. He was pleasantly surprised to find me at the computer, naked from the waste up when he got home. He was even more surprised when he noticed my beautiful new jewelry! It was difficult to discourage him from playing with it but he was consoled with a few promises of future fun.
It's healing rather well, well enough that it can take some gentle tugging, which my husband is very happy about!!! I can't wait until it's completely healed and we can get more enthusiastic.
I love looking down and seeing that shiny ring hanging from my nipple. It probably wont be long before it has a friend moving in next door! I think it'd be great fun to drape a chain between them.
My next adventure will be a clitoral hood piercing. I think it looks so pretty and all the stories of the great sex afterwards makes me eager for one. I can't wait!!
