Guys with their nipple pierced had intrigued me for some time. Especially those guys with well-defined bodies. Even as a teenager I thought there was some thing extremely sexy about a hot guy having a neat nipple ring. Finally when I was 23, this 'lust' I guess is what lead me to finally look into getting one myself. I had procrastinated about it for a few years, going to different piercing outlets, to find out information.

When I walked onto the outlet there was a girl of about 20 behind the counter, who seemed quite friendly right from the beginning. I was really shy at first, but after a while, came out of my shell a little. The girl made me feel comfortable answering all my questions. Before I knew it I had said o.k. could I have it done. She told me that their policy at the studio was that you had to make an appointment no less than 24hrs in advance. I made the appointment and feeling a really excited and more than a little nervous I went home anxiously awaiting tomorrow.
I hardly slept that night from excitement. Soon though it was time to go for the appointment to finally have my very own ring for me to play with when ever I liked (and anyone else that I invited to).
I arrived at the studio and checked in. I was asked to take a seat and someone would be with me shortly. Although I was excited about the whole having my own nipple ring at long last I was also as nervous as hell.
After what seemed an eternity of waiting, a sliding door one the side of the waiting room opened and a guy called my name. I followed him along a short passageway and into a small room with a dentist type chair in the middle of it.
He started by asking which nipple I wanted to pierce. I had already chosen the left. He measured the size of the nipple and then explained that the piercing would heal with fewer problems if I started off with a straight barbell. He then said once it had healed I could then change it to what ever I liked without any problem. He then marked where the bar would enter and exit my nipple and asked me if I was happy with the marking. I thought it looked o.k. so I said for him to carry on. The piercer then grabbed a couple of I cubes in a bag from a small bar freezer in the corner of the studio and placed them on my nipple and asked me to hold them in place for a couple of minutes. He said this would cause the nipple to become fully erect and would also minimize bleeding. He also grabbed a sterile package from another cupboard and opened it placing an 11mm x 2mm diameter barbell in a small dish on the stand where he already had the needles etc. waiting
After a minute or two he then removed the ice, picked up the needle and placing it near the point he had earlier marked on my nipple and asked me if I was ready. Nervously I nodded. He then said take a deep breath and hold it. I drew in a lung full of air and he pushed the needle into my nipple. My lungs were full but somehow I managed to squeeze some more air in. It was not pain a such but the discomfort it and the thought that I was actually having it done. He pushed the needle through and then placed the threaded end of the bar into the open end of needle. He said "one more" and the drew the needle back out.
He screwed the other end of the bar on and said that was it, all finished. He held a mirror up again for me to look at it. Apart from being red, it looked great. He finished up covering it with a gauze pad and explained all the relevant care information. He then finally told me that it would take 4 to 6 weeks to heal.
The next day there was a little bit of blood and gunk around the edged of the piercing (I think Is slepted on it through the night). But it soon healed in around 4 weeks. If felt strange a first being able to fondle my own piercing, but I liked it.
After it had healed I went back into the studio because I wanted to look cook as well as sexy. I had seen titanium ring of all colours in the display cabinet ad knew that I would have to have one of them. I picked out one in blue and had it fitted.
I love the ring and I'm still wearing the ring today after a little over 2 years. I wish now that I had gotten it done when I was 18 and not been so shy about it for so long.
