In May of 2000, I went to New Breed to receive my first nipple piercing. During the span in between getting my first nipple done, I really felt "lopsided". Somehow, I just didn't feel like I had completely finished my experience. The week before the Thanksgiving holiday of 2001, I decided that I wanted to get an industrial ear piercing, which I will write about later. After getting my jewelry made and pierced by Tony at New Breed, I felt it was time to go ahead and make my nipple experience complete.
At A Glance Author rav3n0us Contact rav3n0us@bme.anon When A week ago Artist Tony Studio New Breed Location Indianapolis, IN I have really enjoyed my left nipple piercing. It looks and feels great. My wife really loves it as well. So I figured, "if one is good, two surely will be great". I received some early Christmas money and was contemplating what I would do with the money. I had just received 40 dollars from a relative and didn't know what to do with it. A couple weeks after getting my industrial, I was surfing around on BME and decided, today is the day. After work that day, I went and talked to my wife. I told her that today would be the day I both, spend my Christmas money, and get my other nipple pierced.
As I stated earlier, about a month prior, I had gotten an industrial. I really appreciated the care and attention I received by Tony at New Breed. I had gotten my first nipple done at New Breed as well. So going back there was but a foregone conclusion.
I headed toward the studio and endorphins that every person who loves piercing as I do kicked in. I walked in to the studio and Tony greeted me. He asked how my Industrial was doing and checked it out. He said it looked really good and that everything was coming along nicely. So, I ask him "You think it's too early to get another?" He says, "Where?" I reply "My other nipple" He says there shouldn't be a problem with that. I had replaced the bead in my left nipple. So I asked him if I could get another bead since they didn't have one that would match it. He gathered up the jewelry and said he would go get things ready. I waited in the lobby until the moment of truth. He invited me into the room adorned with various Giger pictures and the obligatory Pinhead photo (which I thought was quite appropriate). I removed my shirt and sat on the table. He was finishing up the preparations and we made the usual smalltalk. I asked him about the various instruments and the process for cle aning and the like. I found the conversation quite interesting, as I am very interested in not becoming a piercer, but more understanding the art and technique of it all. He said that all the instruments were ready and it was time. He had me lay down on the table with my right nipple facing him. I have five piercings now and have always heard most people say the clamps are the most painful part of the process. I had never really experienced that. Today, would be my first experience like that. He put the India ink on my nipples and lined everything up. He then put the clamp on and the pain was pretty noticeable. I said to him that it never really hurt before, even the first time. We chatted about that for a minute. He then put the needle to the far side of my nipple and said you are gonna feel a small prick. He told me to breathe in. I did. Now breathe out. The pain rushed as the outer layer of my nipple was pierced. It was not nearly the kind of pain that is unbearable or e ven as bad as my first nipple. The second layer of skin must have been tougher or something because it was a little harder for him to pierce. The second layer was finally pierced. It was quite a bit more painful, but the endorphins had kicked in by this point. I have always found that most painful part of the piercing experience is getting the jewelry and bead in. When I had my bead replaced in my year old left nipple, it hurt the same as the time it was pierced. I didn't even notice it this time. I guess my experience was really different this time around.
I am again, very happy with my nipple piercing and look forward to my next piercing. I am not sure at this point what that will be. It might be something to compliment my Industrial or perhaps something a little below the belt. I love showing it off and can't wait until I can actually put it to the same use as my left one. Until my next story...............
