Well here it is, the tale of my new piercing!!! Although I used to have my tongue and my clit hood done, I took them both out about 6 months ago because I got ill - poor me! So the other day, bored mindless at work, I decided that it was time to get a new piercing; I've been thinking about getting my hood done again for a while, but I didn't want it done just yet...so what was it to be??? I know - my nip?! I've always quite liked my boobs, and I've always been a bit paranoid about getting it done, but then I got this odd obsession. So Friday at work, bored, phoned up Cold Steel, made my appt for 11 on Sat.

Trudged up to London, on my own cos none of my mates would come with me, and slunk into cold steel; feeling more scared than I ever have before. Kept envisioning proper pain and thinking "shit, what am I doing now?" "what if they look horrid?"
So I got to cold steel, which is a really good studio and scuttled up the stairs. I was a bit early so they said they would do it straight away if I wanted, so I said yep, ok. Thinking what am I doing.
I've been to Cold Steel before and know that they are really good, in the APP and obsessed with cleanliness and ID. So I handed over my drivers licence, which was scrutinized for ages and then they made me fill in the disclaimer. And away we went.
So we went into the room, and the bloke (who was really nice) was like ok, get yourself ready.
So off with my top and bra. Sat there thinking why arent my boobs bigger??? He chatted and relaxed me, although I was still really nervous. Then he cleaned my nipple. At which point it was like "hello, erect erect erect!" Embarrassing enough. So then he marked it, but we agreed it wasn't straight, so he cleaned it again, then marked it again. It was chocka. So he said to lie down and chill, went through their sterilisation process with me; everything used once and once only and all bagged etc . Bu like I say, I knew that they're realy good. Then he clamped my poor scared niplet. And said breath in breath out, breath in...and then as I breathed out he pushed it through. Ow. It hurt a bit but was over SO quick it didnt matter. Then he put the jewellry through; was pretty odd sitting there with a needle receiving tube througgh my nip! Fixed on the balls and Then it was done!!! Over.
I always feel really vunerable when I lie down on the chair, but its a good scared. Everyone always asks if it hurt and never believe me when I say it doesn't, but I think it all depends on your attitude and how it is done if it hurts. My most painful piercing so far has def. been my ear cartilage because it was done with a gun in a horrible place. But hey - I was young.
He went through the aftercare with me about 6 times. I clean it twice daily with provon and a cotton bud to clean the crusties off. And so far its been fine. No Pain at all and I love it lots! Getting the other one done soon...
Since I've had it done I've loved it lots. My nipple is now a bit bigger than the other one, but I think it looks really cool. I like it because it is a bit unusual still in girls and also because I think its funny when people get so shocked about it.
Most people who've seen it think its cool, but I showed my now ex and he was like hmmm, don't expect me to get it done. Do you see why hes an ex?
I have only knocked it once (walked into a door!!) and it didn't hurt too bad, but after I first had it done and even now, I think I'd be sick if anyone walked into me or hurt it. Its my new baby! I still don't know why I was so nervous about it; I've never been this nervous about a piercing and I am nervous about getting the other one done. My mum wasn't very pleased about it when I flashed it at her; just complains about future breast feeding etc, but as far as I can tell it doesn't actually affect it.
For the first few nights I covered it up with micropore and a big dressing; just so I didn't knock it at night. I've just had a tattoo done on my back so it's a good thing that I can sleep on my front again now!!
