I decided to get my nipples pierced last October, without support from my friends. I even had one friend, I could call her my second mother, tell me not to do it. So I get to the piercing studio, I have many other piercings, so I wasn't that nervous, but I was still deciding on whether I should have my ears stretched or my nipples pierced. Jodi, the piercer convinced me that ear stretching was more painful than my nipples getting done, so I believed him. I had a friend come with me so I could have somebody there, but she didn't watch or help me in any way, so she might as well not came that day.

He sits me in the chair and told me to flash him, not really, but that would of been hilarious. Before this I haden't shown my bare breast to many strangers, but now it isn't a big deal. I lifted my shirt up, he cleaned the areas and marked the spots and the first needle went through my left nipple. I thought the pain isn't that bad, I can do this, then the second needle entered my right nipple and it hurt pretty bad. I was glad I was wearing two shirts that day, because I don't like not to wear a bra and have my nipples showing so I was paranoid about that, but it wasn't that noticable until later. I couldn't wear a bra when I left, it hurt far to much, I felt like sitting topless by myself and going home just to not have any pressure on my nipples, but I convinced myself that I was being a baby and to stick it out. I was given a choice about the size of the balls that were on my rings, I don't know why I picked the bigger ones, because now you can see sometimes through my bra and shirt and it looks like I have four nipples.

I was so excited when I got home, you know I couldn't tell my parents, but I ended up showing about ten people and they couldn't stand the sight I guess it made them weak in the knees. So I was cleaning them 3 times a day, the pain was terrible the first few days, I thought I was going to pass out a couple of times. It is very important to clean your nipples several times a day, otherwise the rings probably will get stuck, etc. I used sea salt and bacitracine. I only used the bacitracine for about 2 weeks though. They were healing well and then I noticed my right nipple ring was crooked about 2-3 weeks afterwards, I started to get pi--ed. I didn't want to get it pierced again, money was tight for me, so I didn't want to spend $25, on another piercing. The studio I went to I have been going to awhile and they had this new piercer guy, who I come to find out, his primary job was to make jewelry and wasn't really that experienced in piercing. An a--, I guess. So I ended up taking it out because it kept getting more and more lopsided. I still only have my left nipple pierced, but it definitely was worth it. Make sure the guy or gal who is piercing has done this kind of piercing before, I believe it was his fault and not my body rejecting it, because it looked lopsided from the start. People say that it can make you tremble with joy because of your shirt rubbing against your rings. With me that only lasted when they were still sensitive, after the first couple of weeks it went away, I was a little disappointed, but life goes on.

Some more advice, wearing tight clothing or even wearing a bra. When I did this both of my breasts ached for like a couple of hours afterward. Make sure your clothing is clean, don't wear the same shirt all the time or the same bra, it will definitely prolong the healing process. No playing either until they are healed, I had a friend who got his ripped out by his girlfriend's ring and it started to bleed rather profusely. Also, if you like to swim, or be in dirty water and other things, I would suggest getting them pierced in the fall or winter. Would suggest not going into chlorine or ponds for a couple of weeks after the piercing, because it may get infected rather badly from parasites or dirtiness in the water. Also if you are big breasted and you want to do this, do it in the winter,if you want to hide your rings. It will be easier to hide the fact that you had this done, such as wearing multiple shirts and wearing a coat more. If that doesn't bother you, pierce your nipples any time. I suggest everyone have this done, this is by far one of my favorite piercings and if you work a job where piercings are not allowed, this should be your piercing of choice.
