So, I sat around today. I wanted to get my center lip pierced already for a little while. I was going to go yesterday already, but it was too late. So I chilled with my friend Helen yesterday, and we decided to both go down to venice today to see if I could get my tongue pierced. I had wanted to get a tongue orbital... complicated, long story, but it turned out that it would be hard to do, I would need custom jewelery which is like $60, plus the piercing, so yeah, too much for me right now.

There are the same three people in there everytime I go in there. I got my tattoo fixed by Dave about last year, then the piercing guy did my nipples about 2 months ago. So, yeah, they are pretty awesome people, and the facility is nice, and clean, and all that... So, I'm happy.
So, the piercing costs $35, and then tip, so about $40. The guy wanted to pierce me with a 16ga ring first, but I didn't want that because it would be a little more of a pain in the ass to find jewelery that I really like. So, we went with a 14ga captive bead ring.
I have to rinse out my mouth with listerine. Lovely, and it stings because it is so strong. Just absolutely lovely. He tells me to sit down in the dentist type chair. Helen wanted to watch, and Dave, the tattooist asked if he could watch, and I said that it was fine. So, they are all watching. The piercer puts a mark below my lip, and he asks me to see if it is centered. I tell him I want it a bit more over to the right, and he says that he'll just pierce the right side of the dot. So, he does that. He basically pulls out my lip and starts looking at it, and I don't know if he had clamps or not because my eyes were closed. He tells me to breathe in and then breathe out, and in goes the needle. It sure did hurt like Sh*t. It was a slow piercing because it has to be made straight. So, yeah, he then had to get the captive bead ring, so I had to sit there with a needle coming out of my lip, interesting feeling. For this piercing, the piercing itself hurt more than the putting in of the jewelery. I was expecting the jewelery to hurt more when being put in because that is what happened with my nipples. He then put in the bead, and it was done. I had a tear in my eye from closing it.
Haha... Dave kept asking if I was ok. It was cute. Helen was like "I can't believe you did that" and I got up to look in the mirror and it was really awesome looking. I love the way it looks. I just know that it is going to take a lot of getting used to. My lip was completely numb after that, and I was talking really badly because I was scared to touch my bottom lip with my top one. So, yeah...
I then went to Jack in the Box to get a ice cream shake because I was hungry, and I needed the food to come out of a straw, haha. So yeah, I got a shake. It was good, and it kinda made my lip a bit cold, so the pain started going away. All was good.
I got more and more used to it by the end of the night. It looks really awesome, and I think that it is so sexy. :o). I'm very happy with it. I wouldn't get it done again though, it hurt too much. Haha. And I have a pretty high pain tolerance.
I came home after, and none of my parents know about it. So, it was going to be a complete shock to them. I go up to my mom, and the first thing she says is "Oh Jesus!" haha. I was laughing so hard. Then she proceeded to tell me how ugly it was, and that I was stupid for getting it. Oh well, I don't care what my mom thinks, she is a huge hypocrite anyway. But yeah... she kinda flipped. Oh well, once again.
Tonight I smoked(two different things lol), I drank alcohol, and I partied, so I will just have to wait and see if it is all swollen tomorrow. I cleaned my mouth out with listerine when I got home, and I'm going to do it once again before I go to sleep. Sorry for not being able to tell you about the day after feelings.
