I got my eyebrow pierced when I was 15 years old. Although my mom didn't approve of it I just absolutely had to have it done. I got my ears pierced when I was younger and of course when I got older I wanted something else pierced. I got the idea of getting my eyebrow pierced from my brother. One day he came home and had green hair and his eyebrow pierced. I just feel in love with it. I begged my mom for the longest time asking her to let me get mine pierced and of course her answer was no each time. On my 15th birthday I had asked her for my birthday present could I get my eyebrow pierced at first she said no and I had told her that it was safe and explained to her everything that I had researched. After along talk she finally agreed to letting me get it pierced except there was an off side of it, I had to convince my dad. Well I guess my mom thought that my dad would say no and she figured he would say no and it would be finale. Well I asked my dad and immediately he had t old me he didn't care that it was my body to do what I wanted. So I talked to my mom and she agreed to take me the next day. Well, I was so excited I was telling everyone what I was going to do I was telling my brothers girl friend and she asked me if she could go with me and get her belly button pierced and I said yes.

I just couldn't wait to get out of school finally 3:00 rolled around school was out "yes I thought". Well I my mom picked me up and we had to swing by my house to pick up my brothers girl friend. We picked her up and headed toward ink link.
When we got there I was standing at the desk and the guy at the front desk asked me what I wanted done and I immediately told him I wanted my eyebrow pierced. He said okay and my mom and me signed some forms saying it was all right then we were sent back to the waiting room. Me my mom and my brothers girl friend set back waiting as the time went by I got butter fly's in my stomach I was getting so nervous and I was to the point I was going to back out and as I was thinking about backing out they called us back. When we got back there the piercer had asked us who wanted to go first and I volunteered my brothers girl friend. As I watched her I was shaking scared it was going to hurt. Then the piercer was done and said I was next she sat me down in the doctor like chair and she explained to me after care instructions. Then I watched her clean all the equipment and take out the sterilized needles. She told me lie back in the chair and so I obeyed her. My mom asked me if I wanted to hold her hand and my trying to be all big and bad I said no. Well she finally came over to me and she marked the place where she would be piercing she handed me a mirror and asked me if I was satisfied where she was going to pierce me I said yea its cool. Then she took the mirror and got the needle and came toward me I was having second thoughts and said wait let me see how big that needle is she said no just lay back knowing that if I looked at the needle I was going to back out so I immediately reached out for my moms hand. She told me that on the count of 3 she was going to do it so she counted one...two... and she tricked me instead of 3 she did it on two it didn't hurt I was surprised all I felt was a pinch that's it I was amazed. As she slid the needle out she put in the barbell. She cleaned it once more and told me to lie back for a few minutes to calm down. After I got up I was excited to look at it I got up looked at it and I was so proud of myself. I had did it I didn't think I was going to go thro with it. She had told me to clean it with bactine as much as possible.
So after that my mom and me went and got the right stuff to clean it with and went home. As soon as we got home I showed my dad and everyone in my neighborhood I went to school the next day everyone loved it and wanted there's done too. I don't regret it one bit. If you want to get your eyebrow pierced I suggest you do it because you only live once live it to your fullest and besides it didn't hurt at all.
