My hero has always been Andrew Gore and his eyebrow full of rings. I've always wanted to do that myself, but I hate having to deal with the soreness that occurs do to pirecings. However on one of our slow nights I decided that I could bare the after experience if it meant that I could have heaps of rings in my left eyebrow. Now remember, I am a professional and I wouldn't advise that non-professionals should try this themselves.

I went to work gathering up all the jewelry and supplies. I thought that a series of 14 gauge rings would do quite nicely. Since I would be doing it on myself I felt that I'd have to use 13 gauge needles in fear that the increased difficulty of doing it myself could risk loosing the connection. I had everything together that was going to be needed, so all that was left was to prepare myself.

I swabbed my eyebrow with alcohol, then with iodine. After that I wiped away the iodine with the alcohol wipe so that I could mark the area. Now normally I don't mark the area I'm going to pierce, but since I was going to need each one spaced out just right, I felt that it should be done. I was going to start out small with just doing five at once, so I marked out an equal distance for each little dot.

I was all set. I faced the mirror, clamped the first spot, took the needle and began. Now normally a piercing should be a really fast experience, but it's a little different when I do it to myself. I've done all of my own work and the quickest one was my septum, which took about ten minutes. So I was prepared for a long procedure. I just seem to lose a lot strength when I do things on myself so that's why it takes so long. The first one went in without much trouble. Now it was time to do number two.

By this time the group of people that were getting tattooed were quite marveled and a little shocked that I was piercing myself. However the real shock came with ring number two. As I started to push it through, it started to gush blood. It seemed as though I had punctured a capillary. I had blood running down my face. This startled me because I rarely have anyone bleed when I pierce them, and when they do it's just a drop or two. So I made what could have been a poor choice and pulled the needle out. All the people getting tattooed thought I was going to die. All I could do was get a cold wet rag and put pressure on it.

After ten minutes or so I thought that it was time to get started again. I decided to go on to number three since number two was being disagreeable. Number three went in without a hitch, but boy was it getting real hot in the room. The whole time I had been standing up while doing all of this, and I had seen people pass out when getting pierced or tattooed so I decided for a break. I sat down and got a coke to bring my blood sugar back up. I'm sure that the blood loss didn't help the situation much. I put a fan on me too so I could cool down. I was ready for number four, or so I thought.

When I tried to put number four in I found out that I'd lost a lot of my strength and I had to sit down again except this time I had a needle through my eyebrow. It was just in there and I decided that I could wait a few minutes before I tried to put the jewelry in. But reluctantly, I got back at it and put the jewelry through. For a moment I thought to myself that maybe I didn't need an eyebrow full of rings, that I could probably live a full and happy life without all the rings. But once my brief moment of derangement was over, I continued on.

Number five also went in with no problems. So I was left with one last question, should I go back and do number two? The answer I thought was, yes. I took the needle prepared to place it back into a half-pierced hole of hurt. I positioned my hand by this time I gave up on clamps on around number four, the damn things hurt worse then the piercing) and went through. It was definitely not what I would consider a pleasant experience. However I got it through and with no blood to boot.

I had had enough so I thought that I'd let our other body piercer, Patty, put the beads in for me. It would have been a happy story if my eye hadn't swollen like I'd been in a fight and if airport security a month later wouldn't have made me take them out do to the fact I could have injured someone with my harmless little CBR's.
