So, it all started when I was about 12 years old. I was at the store and I saw someone who had their eyebrow pierced. At that instant I absolutely fell in love with that freaking piercing!! Of course, my parents were totally against the idea of me getting it done at that young of an age. So, 3 years later, a few months after my 15th birthday, I decided to ask my mom again expecting to get no for an answer seeing how it took me like 2 months to convince her to let me get my 2nd hole in my ear. Well, to my suprise she didn't say no, took about 2 days to think about it, and she said it was ok as long as my dad was ok with it. Well, he ok with it since he is very very nice. It was official! Shelly was getting her eyebrow pierced!!!!!!!!

We entered the shop, which wasn't the cleanest but I felt comfortable in there for some reason or another, and we signed all the papers. I met my piercer and I decided to get it done with a 14ga barbell.
My piercer was very nice, not to mention pretty cute lol, but anyway, and he had multiple piercings that looked pretty gosh darn cool. He finished sterilizing everything and asked if I was nervous. I said yes, I don't wanna cry, and he just made fun of me! He told me not to be nervous because it doesn't hurt. He then asked if I ever gotten blood taken from me and I said no, then he asked if I ever gave blood (which is really the same thing, both of them take blood out of you, but oh well) I said no again and he made a funny face and told me it hurts less than getting your ears done so I was all good and ready. He clamped my eyebrow which didn't hurt at all, I don't know why people say that hurts, and then it was time for me to breath! He made me breath in and out 2 times then shoved the needle through. Honestly, it didn't hurt, just stung for like 4 seconds. He put the barbell in and I was pierced!!!! I go out of the room and my friend goes in to get her belly button done. Me and my piercer talked about the proper cleaning and he explained everything to me while the other guy did my friend's belly button. And, of course, my mom asked all of her retardedly stupid questions and made him repeat everything like 18 times since all her questions had already been explained before hand. Then my friend was done and we left and went to the mall.
Now I have had it done for about a month and a half and it is healing very nicely! I am absolutely in love with it and I can't believe I got it done and was actually allowed considering how my mom is this big god, religious person. It is so cool and adorable and if anyone out there wants to get it done do it! It is a good first piercing (besides ears I'm assuming). Oh yes, and i would recommend going to Inner Soul to get it done if you live in NJ around that area.
Hopefully, I should be getting my helix pierced soon but my mom is being a little bunghole about it. She was ok with it and now she's not...but of course she'll end up saying yes. In my ears, I know that I want to get a 3rd hole, my cartilage done twice, an industrial, my rook, and tragus, maybe anti-tragus, and possibly my conch pierced. I would also like to get all 4 sides of my belly button done and my lip and tongue. AND the piercing I REALLY REALLY want right now are my nipples but I know I'll have to wait until I'm 18 to get them done. I guess I can wait since I'm obsessed with it and really want them done. Only a little over 2 years to wait! lol. God I'm waaaaay to young!
I always get harassed about it in school and EVERY single person was to ask if it hurts, why did I get it/want it, so on. And I think it's funny cuz when I first came to school with it done it was a little yellow, I guess bruised, and everyone asked why it did that... I was like retards, they shoved a needle through my skin, I think something is gonna get bruised. ok well anyway, I guess I'm done with my experience, hopefully I'll have my helix experience up soon!!!!
