When I was 17 I had my tongue pierced for the first time. It was done by an unknown (well, rather well known artist, but i don't remember his name) at Barbarella in Gothenburg.

Since it was a christmas present from a friend and I liked it very much I had it in for like +2 years until I started working as a sales person. The boss didn't even comment about my piercing but since I got high working morale I thought I would do a better job without the steel in my mouth. Yes, I'm stupid. Should have kept the bloody thing in. Anyway..
Well.. two or three years passed without any piercings.. except 2 ear lobes (no, not with gun) 14 ga. Don't want to stretch them 'cause I kinda like the way my body is. Then I found bmezine.com (thank god!). I was browsing the pictures and thought that I should get a new piercing. Since I hade recently broken up a relationship I was feeling a bit down and thought that the physical pain would make me feel better. I thought about it for like a week and then went and got my right nipple pierced. Ahh.. love that burning feeling.
Ok, to my story about the tongue piercing. I really liked the nipple piercing but it wasn't anything I could play with in bed. Well, my gf could play with it but I'm more of a giver than a reciever. I wanted something more like.. a genital piercing or tongue. Since tongue piercing is cheaper I went for that first but since I had an appointment at the dentist some days later I had to wait a whole 3 days before I could get it! Argh.. that feeling when you are really ready and want a piercing but can't.. it's a real pain.
Ok, so I got to the dentist and thought I should get the hole fixed without anestetics because i wanted to do the real piercing right after that (can't do a piercing without feeling it, that's like cheating). But they said it would hurt pretty bad so they said they had to give me a shot, otherwise i wouldn't be able to handle it. Pfft.. i said, but it was ok. I had to wait even longer to get my piercing. Atleast until the anestetic wore off. I went back to work and did my shit (computer programmer) just waiting to get out of there and get a fucking needle through my tongue..
The clock reached 5 p.m. and it was time to head for the piercer. Omg! The traffic that day! I almost f*cking didn't get there until they closed. Like 10 minutes to 6 (they close 6). I told her i wanted my tongue done and that i had it done before. She felt my tongue for internal scartissue (or whetever you call it). I said i wanted her to do it in the previous hole (or atleast as close as possible). Ok, she said.
In with some "Tech 2000" in my mouth. Swish.. swish.. spit.
On with the clamps (didn't hurt to bad since she hold them and didn't use a rubberband or anything). She didn't say a word and just poked the needle through. Ahh.. i like the fact that she doesn't do the count or anything. *Bam* Needle through. In with the barbel and screw the ball in.
Damn the piercing hurt the second time. Alot more than the first. She told me it could be because of scar tissue inside the tongue which made it harder to push through. But I was like ok. It was a good pain anyway and I did the piercing mostly for sexual pleasures.
I got home with my new piercing and had to eat something. Ahh.. nothing home.. ok, mcdonalds.. mcnuggets.. yeah, they can't be too hard to eat. Sauce with that? Yeah, curry! Damn my tongue got swollen. Hehe.. no surprise really.
Ok, like 3 days later i meet this great girl (friends ex. girlfriend) and i had to kiss her. So i did. Rinsed with Tech 2000 after tho'. Worked out ok. It was a little painful but ok. We messed around all night and my bottle tech 2000 was empty after that day. lol. It lasted 3 days. Got some Listerine at the pharmacist. Shit! What a pain to rinse with that! 10 times worse than the piercing itself. I only rinse like one time a day now after 6 days and everything in my mouth is ok. Tongue piercing just heal incredibly easy.
Well. That's it from me. If you haven't done your tongue. Do it. Now! It's totally worth it.
